Bill Cosby admitted in a 2005 deposition that he obtained Quaaludes with the intent of giving them to young women he wanted to have sex with. He admitted giving the sedative to at least one woman.
The Associated Press went to court to compel the release of the documents, and they were made public Monday. Cosby’s lawyers had objected on the grounds that it would embarrass their client.

Whatever his star power, he didn’t want them to be able to say no or to have to work to get off whomever we wanted to get off of. It’s a power thing.

I guess I have to be glad that Robert Culp didn’t live to see this. I interviewed him a number of years ago, and he held Cosby in the highest regard. They only worked together a handful of times after “I Spy,” so it’s easy enough to imagine he wasn’t aware of this path his friend had gone down.
I think they are not saying that the average man would resort to rape to have sex. They are saying that all Bill Cosby has to do is request sex and some up and coming starlet would be more than happy to accommodate him. Whereas some average guy would not be able to be so accommodated.
Yeah.... but looking back, don't you think that his methodology worked out pretty well for everyone concerned ?

Drugging/rapes are a big deal, stud.
The theory is that Cosby prefers sex that way, one long term girlfriend says that he even did it to her once, although she says that she would have gone along with most anything, anyway.
Here is an interesting, and at the time, unexplained, but creepy request, that he would make on the Late Show.

“He’d include as a request, before he arrived, that the young girls, interns and assistants, all had to gather around in the green room backstage and sit down and watch him eat curry,” our stunned source explains. “No one would say anything, and he would sit silently eating and make us watch and want us to watch.”—snip—he’d act alarmingly gross to the women employees.
While our source adds that everyone hated the odd preshow ritual, they were asked by producers to do it because “that’s what he (Cosby) wanted.”
