While the United States celebrated Independence Day, two pairs of Russian bombers flew off the coast of California and Alaska -- forcing the Air Force to scramble fighter jets to intercept both flights, two senior defense officials tell Fox News.

The first incident occurred at 10:30 a.m. ET on July 4 off the coast of Alaska, Fox News is told. Two U.S. Air Force F-22 jets were scrambled from their base in Alaska to intercept two Tupolev Tu-95 long-range strategic bombers, capable of carrying nuclear weapons.

Incidents took place at 10:30 and 11:00am on the 4th of July. The Russians were considerate of the pilot’s needs to be home for BBQ and fireworks in the evening.

I’d love to replace the headline with “Vulcan Cannon Dismembers Bear.”

Favorite line from that movie:

"Ever see a duck that couldn't swim?"

The funeral was filmed on the racetrack of the Downs at Albuquerque. I used to work there, and every time I'd go out to the track, that's what I would think. Weird, I know. I am what I am.

Havent watched it in years. I really should. Cheezy as hell but it was awesome.

My 2 faves were Buckaroo Banzi’s “No matter where you go, there you are” and this jem from MIB that has a LOT of wisdom in it that applies in so many ways.

Kay: A person is smart. People are dumb, panicky dangerous animals and you know it. Fifteen hundred years ago everybody knew the Earth was the center of the universe. Five hundred years ago, everybody knew the Earth was flat, and fifteen minutes ago, you knew that humans were alone on this planet. Imagine what you’ll know tomorrow.

Let’s see: Sub fires a missile off the cost of CA, now we got heavy bombers buzzing the left coast. Hmmm...

Yup, good thing we’re getting rid of that ol’ flag... and Trump’s a racist. /s

If they let them get within 250 miles of our coast I hope they are locking them up with fire control radar or signaling them to open the bomb bay doors to see if the racks are empty, otherwise narrow beam phase array microwave their butt back to mother Russia.
