if he wants to insure he has an actual chance of being on the presidential ballot, he needs to get the issue of being Constitutionally eligible cleared up sooner rather then later.

by that i mean, being born with multiple citizenship possibilities (ie: US, canadian, and cuban) and somehow still be a natural born citizen

fyi, you cannot be a natural born citizen of more then one country. if you could, what would be the point of using the phrase in the Constitution?

Cruz has actual support from the base and now a giant war chest.... Is Fox news still going to ignore him?

Awesome. I really loved watching his dismantle Jorge Ramos last week. He needs to save those “gotcha” questions for someone who won’t embarrass him like Cruz did.

Good fundraising for sure. It is highly interesting to note that some recent accounts by those whose lips are locked to Frau Hillary’s butt trumpet her amazing ability to raise 45 million dollars.... yet nowhere in the coverage of Cruz’s announcement have I seen any relevant comparison.

What does this tell us? Maybe those questions or comparisons have been “roped off” by Hillary’s attendants. [I’d ordinarily say ‘handlers’ but I think that her status is much, much worse than anyone on her side is willing to admit]

Dual citizenship at birth appears to be no bar to being a natural born citizen of the US. See Obama.

To prevent naturalized citizens who came to citizenship later in life.

So he was, technically, a subject of the Queen of England at birth, just like one of his parents had been a citizen of Her colony (still at the time) of Kenya. Like that would make a difference.

Unlike most the candidates, Cruz has substance. This will obviously help him if he can hang on early in the race.

They are going to have to find another reason to keep Cruz out of the debates, as impossible as that seems they will try because he is dangerous to the Liberals, Rino’s and the Media, they are illicit dreamers and he is their worst nightmare he will not allow them to wake from it, I can smell their fear and it is a satisfying aroma.

Battling the enemy without and within... CRUZ 2016!

My wife and I donated within the reporting period and we felt especially good about it when we listened to the audio version of his book. The closer you look at Senator Cruz, the more impressive he becomes.

Except it will take at least $100,000.00 just to compete in Iowa.

And bush has that & then some..he has the old deep pockets crowd backing him.

This was the first question Katie Couric asked Ted Cruz. Hear the answer for yourself.

A financial advantage will only get you so far. At some point, there is a law of diminishing returns. Jeb can have a trillion to spend, but as long as he has zero enthusiasm from the base and is a horrible campaigner, it won’t do him much good.

Last time around the situation was different. Romney had tons of cash and was also a decent campaigner and at least pretended to be a conservative during the primary season. He was also up against a very weak field where I think Perry was the only candidate with the potential wherewithal to knock him off — until he flamed out in the debates.

$50 million is plenty for Cruz to get his message out and keep him going through Super Tuesday. And ultimately I don’t think Jeb will be his biggest obstacle — I think Walker is the real frontrunner and will be tough to beat unless he makes several unforced errors.
