I agree, unfortunately, if it be the schools, probably, this is the general viewpoint of many millenials and under I’d say. I hate that fact and it is hard to combat.

Agree, well, we see what a “bad leader” does for America, if we can get a good man in the WH, we may not get all of America back but in time, maybe.

We still need to fight for religious freedom and freedom of conscience. The Alliance for Defending Freedom is doing a great job in this regard.

If God decides to expend one more miracle and steer this country away from a Hillary Clinton presidency, getting a good, decent leader in the WH will slow the decline.

Of course, Matt is not rotten. I know him too. He and Alex are fine young men of whom any parent would be proud. Public school brainwashing.

there is little doubt that Dubya’s wife is a democRAT.

i’ve always thought that Bush I’s wife was a social liberal. in that part of the country, for historic reasons, people are republicans even if they agree with 85% of the democRATS social positions. these used to be called Rockefeller republicans.

there is nothing worse than a male republican politician married to a democRAT woman. her voice is the first he hears every morning and the last he hears every evening and no matter who his paid political advisors are... they will never have the final say when it comes to swaying the politician one way or the other. almost all of these guys end up becoming more and more liberal over time. Schwarzenegger is a good example. the only exception i can think of was Reagan. Nancy was a democRAT. but Reagan’s character was strong. he had come to the right as a result of his experiences on the left.

i always say that who a candidate is married to will dictate how they’ll behave in office. vote for a republican married to a liberal and at best you’ll get a wishy-washy RINO. at worst, you’ll get a ‘RAT pretending to be a republican.

it is. they have been brought up on 30+ years of cultural propaganda. they are not only pro-gay, but they wear it as a badge of honor. they don’t realize that they have been indoctrinated and they don’t care. they think it’s a civil rights issue.

i first noticed that hollyweird was starting to push this agenda back in the 80’s with an episode of Cheers. gays are always portrayed as smarter, funnier, nicer, more educated, etc. than anyone else on TV shows and in movies. they are almost never portrayed as killers or rapists or pedophiles or villains. it’s pretty obvious once you are aware of it. a few years ago, there was controversy about Rush Limbaugh using the term Magic Negro. i challenge anyone to look at any TV show or movie with homosexuals in it and find me one where they are not Magic Homos.

the ONLY example i can think of that’s not biographical is the one where Sharon Stone played a lesbian murderer back in the early 90’s. as i recall, the gay groups were up in arms about that even back then.

How did he raise sons that support “gay marriage”?

It's called the Public School System.

I would not judge him on basis on his children. Ronald Reagan, somebody I admire a great deal, had a son I recently saw on TV attacking religion as a spokesperson for “Freedom From Religion” or something like that. It was disgusting.

Something I don’t understand in all of this mess: statistically speaking there are fewer than 4% of the population that self identify as homosexual. So where are all these “gay/lesbian cousins” coming from?

Either: A. The statisitcs are just wrong or B. A lot of these anecdotal testimonies are rubbish.

I just can’t see how either possibility is true, since both, when quoted, seem to come from reliable sources.

This is something of a mystery to me for a while. 4% of the population causing all this grief? 4% of the population are all cousins of someone else?

I can’t believe everyone has a “gay/lesbian cousin” if they are only 4% of the population, in other words.

Please see my post 73. I’d like your take on it. I’d like everyone’s opinion on the matter there actually.

RE: statistically speaking there are fewer than 4% of the population that self identify as homosexual.

Latest study tells us it’s a little less than 2% ( 1.8% last I read ).

Even worse (for my confusion)!

How can everyone (seem to) have a “gay/lesbian cousin” when they are less than 2%?

The Gipper had two sons who are on the opposite side of the political spectrum.

Michael Reagan is as conservative as his dad. He is in fact, a conservative talk show host and columnist.

Ron Reagan is liberal. for a period of time, he had a talk show for AIR AMERICA.

Good question. I have a gay cousin; she was molested by a male relative when she was a little girl.

"That was a hard one," Tonette Walker said. "Our sons were disappointed. ... I was torn. I have children who are very passionate [in favor of same-sex marriage], and Scott was on his side very passionate."

Has the Walker family flunked Biology 101? Is biology taught any more?

Men living with men are friends. Women living with women are friends. Otherwise perverted sexual practices lead to both mental and physical health issues, a shorter life span, and added health risks to those around them.

Or is it that protecting health and safety is no longer a primary aim of government? Normalizing deviancy is more important because it makes a subset of the population happy?

not really.

the ones that are homosexual are so unusual that they stand out.

i went to a family reunion as a kid about 35 years ago. there were probably 80-90 people there. 1 of them (a 2nd or 3rd cousin, i’m not sure) was gay adult. he brought his boyfriend. it was all sort of scandalous in that i heard the adult women gossiping about it. but if you think of it, 1 out 80-90 people (or 2 if you count his boyfriend) is in the 1.5%-3% range. so it matches up with reality. it’s just that everyone in my family who has a “gay cousin” anecdote is talking about the same gay cousin. so all 80-90 people there who have such an anecdote don’t really contradict the real statistics.

does that make sense?
