The man arrested in the fatal shooting of a woman at San Francisco’s Pier 14 has confessed to the crime – though he said it was an accident.
In a jailhouse interview Sunday with KGO-TV’s Cornell Barnard, Francisco Sanchez, speaking in a mix of Spanish and English, said he had found the gun, wrapped inside a shirt, while he was sitting on a bench and smoking a cigarette at the pier. He had picked it up and “it started to fire on its own,” Mr. Sanchez said, adding that he has poor vision and was under the influence of sleeping pills when he shot and killed Kathryn Steinle.

Some Mexican illegal alien with poor vision, in a sleep deprived haze, strolls by and just happens to pick up a tee shirt which just happens to have a concealed gun, which miraculously fire itself...three times...and a kill shot to a white female on a busy SF pier. IMHO...this was a set up in retaliation for Trump’s comments.
The worst part about this is that one or more ignorant, asshat, hoplophobic "journalists" will actually believe this guy's BS and the next "big problem" driven into to the ground by the news media will be "guns that fire by themselves".
If only he changed careers to politics. He could lie, cheat, steal and murder without any repercussions.

With all the threads on this today...where exactly was the shooter and where the victim? Was he close and it was aimed or was he somewhere way off and the bullet ‘just happened’ to hit that poor woman? The specifics seem unclear from all I’ve read so far. Just wondering, mind you.
What I do not understand is how the gun “accidently” fired three times.
I wonder if there is any video of the shooting.
