BARNEGAT, N.J. Teachers unions during the past decade have known their share of scandal. Add the case of Wayne Wedderman Jr. to the list.
This Monday, June 29, Wedderman, treasurer of the Barnegat Education Association, pleaded guilty in Ocean County, New Jersey Superior Court to theft from the union. He had been arrested last November for stealing roughly a combined $23,000 from two union accounts in the wake of a county probe begun the previous month.
A grand jury in February subsequently indicted Wedderman on two counts of thefts and one count of computer theft. Sentencing is scheduled for September.

I’m surprised that there was no innocent plea - that this person genuinely thought that this was a formal benefit of the job. In NJ, it might have worked.

Will the teacher’s union help her keep her job?
Teachers union members cannot seem to be fired for any other reason.

No problem, he was being trans-ethical.

For shame Ocean County, New Jersey, for letting this turd get anywhere near your children! Christie needs to stay in NJ and continue to try and clean it up, if that’s possible. New Jersey and Maryland, trying to garner first place for the nation’s toilet!

It’s ok, the schools that I send MY CHILDREN to would NEVER hire a man that looks like that - why...because us parents would get mad if they did. My 5 year old is safe.
(and besides, the schools are free, so I can go out and buy that boat I’ve always wanted)
