Sunday on Fox News Channel’s “MediaBuzz,” Republican presidential candidate and billionaire business mogul Donald Trump addressed his controversial comments on some Mexican immigrants being rapist and murderers said he was simply commenting on media reports on border crime, therefore he “can never apologize for the truth.”

Host Howard Kurtz asked if he should apologize.

Good for Trump.
I’ve never liked the guy, but he’s gaining my respect.

Agreed. Many folks have said that Trump is a just in it for the publicity, or that he's a plant for Hillary, etc. But I'm beginning to think he's the real deal.

Cruz/Trump 2016 has a nice ring to it. Maybe Sarah Palin for a cabinet position.

Host Howard Kurtz asked if he should apologize.

Media like to get candidates to apologize. Then, they can almost always force the candidates into an apology tour, thus keeping whatever issue it is alive.

Trump didn't fall for it!!!!!

[I am liking The Donald more and more.]

Willard Romney lost because the conservative base stayed home.

Flawed though he is, The Donald could get the conservative base out in historic numbers if he doesn't lose his nerve.

A real politician would back down and grovel.

Bump!!

That's why one this single issue - I'm inclined to throw my vote at Donald. He said it himself, that he is perhaps the only man in Washington that cannot be bought. The good Lord knows that this is the situation with practically every single RINO and Republican on the Hill.

It is my belief that the Netflix "House of Cards" is so popular, because it's likely very true. The Republican party is corrupt, from the top all the way down - what they promise on the campaign trail is forgotten within days of being sworn into office - and if not "forgotten", it was a bald-faced lie from the get-go.

I'll take my chances on a proven self-starter, who has lived outside the culture of corruption and manipulation.

Trump needs to go all the way- play the liberals game...collect the victims whose relatives and friends have been murdered/raped/abused by illegals and parade them in front of the media....

Trump is absolutely correct on illegal immigration.

Back in the days that were, it was up to the states to immigrate people. Washington DC had the say on what the procedures were.

But it doesn’t matter now, not in the least, about what a state has to say about whether a person gets immigrated. They just pour across the border! And DC doesn’t give even the smallest damn about it at all.

We need to do what the founders wanted.

DC sets a uniform rule of immigration.

THE STATES CARRY IT OUT!

Trump is NOT a conservative and he would be a disaster for us as president, but he’s right about the illegal immigrants/invaders issue and he needs to stick around to keep hammering this issue. i wish he’d go after the democRATS with the issue and the rest of the repubs would leave him alone to do this work. instead of fighting with Romney or JEB (which is a win-win for the libtard MSM), he should be firing his gun in the direction of Hillary and Obama. Jeb and Mitt should STFU. but being the good little RINOs that they are, they are doing the libtard MSM’s work for them. idiots. morons. dunderheads!

It is even worse than that. The Regime is even bringing them in under various guises - reuniting families, alleged refugees, humanitarian relief, etc.

I don't like or trust Trump either, but I suppose that even a flawed messenger on this, the most important issue facing America, is better than none at all. Perhaps this will force some of the other candidates who also oppose amnesty to put the issue center-stage rather than as an afterthought.

Many folks have said that Trump is a just in it for the publicity,

As I've said, I'm glad somebody is talking about this issue, but where was Trump on immigration for all these years? Why hasn't Trump been using his billions to fund anti-illegal immigration PACs or his media ties to focus on the issue until now? I guess Reality TV is just more lucrative. That's why I don't trust him: out of the blue he's a born-again warrior on the issue, as though he's just saying the most provocative things he can think of to get more media attention.

Trump a throwback to the ‘old world’ who likes to win and never apologize for telling the truth.

Been thinking along those lines. There is a lot at stake for the evil left. If trump gets far enough that he fails to implode and is picking up popularity to boot, then a tragic plane crash might be just the thing .
