In practice, however, much of what sets the United States apart from other countries today is actually Southern exceptionalism.

Yep, folks just can’t leave it alone. Southerners and the South are the only thing that can be insulted with no consequences. We are getting a mite tired of all this. Just kick us out already. You look down on us, we want you all to just shut up.
Funny how the left can’t do anything but spread hate of the Us or of Christians, during celebrations of holidays.

You have seen this statistic with Military spending removed? Not all Federal dollars are welfare. Some Federal spending actually purchases things. Like the Navy and NASA.

The author of that article completely ignores the elephant in the room: Islam.
All he sees is the demise of the Judeo/Christian basis of American culture. Boy is he going to be surprised.

Long story short, 9 hours, 200 miles driven and 4 trips to make a simple transaction.
Don’t forget Christians (real Christians, not progressives without a trace of Bible in their “faith”); they are always a target of opportunity...

I visit up North in Kentucky sometimes and I do enjoy my time there. I consider Kentucky to be Southern, or at least most of it and it is part of the SEC.
It’s crazy...I used to travel a hell of a lot in my job. Many, many times to military posts and bases. For a visitor (real American) they want to know everything about you. Did you send in a clearance? Do you have your insurance papers? Do you have a drivers license, birth certificate, your Subway card and lord knows what else.
Then you have to sit down and wait for your ‘sponsor’ to come down to the center and sign his life away for you.
Meanwhile, any Abdul or Omar can walk in and say he wants to go to the personnel employment center and gets a pass straight away. It is insane...just pure insane.
