I am confident the folks in the Trump camp are already preparing and ramping up for this.

***
I certainly hope so.

As I said earlier, we will be able to tell just how serious Trump is by how quickly he follows up on this breach he has created in the media/Rats defenses. They fury they are throwing into their defense indicates just how serious a breach it is. We shall see. This could indeed get interesting. More to come.

Longer. I grew up in New Mexico. At age 9 our neighbor was a Border Patrol officer. Wore a uniform to work. Drove a SUV type vehicle before they were on the market.

Our Methodist church at the same time took boxes of massa and fruit with soap and toothbrushes to abandoned Army Air bases where they used to train bomber crews for WW II in North Africa. At nine it seemed odd to me the Border Patrol had trouble finding the braceros that the Methodists found so easily. My mother said it was “complicated”.

Both parents had family in Denver and we visited every summer. I learned about “who was Washington” in Washington Park. I had so many aunts, uncles, cousins, etc. we had an annual softball game and fielded both teams with plenty of grandparents and us kids in the stands. I vividly remember Washington Park in the sixties. Beautiful weather, highs in the low 90s with no humidity, plenty of shade.

In the 80s while in college in Boulder we were to visit aunts and uncles in Denver and I told the wife we should do a pick nick in Washington Park beforehand as I had such fond memories and our usual picknik destinations were all in the mountains. It was a huge park and we arrived late morning and it was over run by La Raza. I was not in fear of Bandidos or La Raza and had spent time in the company of both on multiple occasions but I was not about to be the only gringo and bride in a multitude of these people even in that decade.

My return visits to the SW of my youth in subsequent decades have revealed an even greater emergence of Aztlan. America may not be what it was in the 60s but the SW is UNDENIABLY not. When the daughter and her husband lived in Atlanta just a few years ago I was astonished to make a turn and find myself in a neighborhood that I could not distinguish from the Juarez and Chihuahua I visited in my teens. I was quite surprised to find block after block of authentic Mexico in Georgia.

Deer hunting on a bow stand in VA a decade or so ago I heard tunes wafting through the trees I recognized immediately from my Army years in Panama as unmissable Salsa. Now I absolutely love Salsa and my wife and I can do turn after turn the make Latinos jealous. I love Quatro Quarnta. I don’t speak Spanish as well as Jeb, but... When I got back to the clubhouse I asked about the music. I was quite surprised to hear nonchalantly that there were a number of old abandoned farmhouses throughout the woods that were well known to be occupied with Mexicans. “They actually are very hard workers...”

Point being, I have witnessed first hand over decades the slow invasion of our country by illegal aliens. You can call me a racist hater all you want but I know for a fact I have spent far more time in the company of Latinos than just about any white person who might make that accusation.

Just as Castro unloaded the Marielitos Mexico, Honduras, and El Salvador have off loaded their problems to a great degree just not in one big, recognizable slug. The 18th street gang ain’t named for a street in Salvador but one in LA.

Everything above in this post I know personally, firsthand, to be fact. Say what you will but if these facts don’t fit in your theory then you need to take your theory back to the drawing board.
