The surging truth-tellers of the GOP (Ted Cruz and Don Trump)
The Washington Times' Pruden On Politics ^ | July 2, 2015 | Wesley Pruden

Posted on 07/03/2015 10:22:07 AM PDT by 2ndDivisionVet

Donald Trump is surging in New Hampshire, and Chris Christie’s back on the hunt, sounding like a born-again contender. They’re both long shots — the Donald is off the board — but they’re making the kind of noise the wiseheads say they can’t make.

Bernie Sanders is the October surprise for Hillary, drawing the crowds of autumn a year early, and all the Queen of Avarice is collecting now is the stuff you get on your shoes on a stroll through the barnyard. It’s not a race, not yet, and the Gestapo, some of them decked out in the Nazi regalia available on Amazon, is still out searching for stragglers with a verboten crucifix or an offensive Confederate flag. The president decorates the White House as if it were a billboard, offending millions, and the Gestapo joins the applause.

On the Republican side there’s the usual hunger for a candidate with manly orbs, not someone given to taking one reluctant step forward and then two quick leaps backward, apologizing all the way. Chris Christie, eager to come in from the cold, is staking his resurrection on the proposition that he’s that man.

“If we’re going to lead,” he told a crowd of a thousand last week in his hometown of Livingston, N.J., “we have to stop being loved and start being respected again. I’m not running for president as a surrogate for being elected prom king … there is one thing you will know for sure: I mean what I say, and I say what I mean. And unlike some people who offer themselves for the presidency in 2016, you’re not going to have to wonder whether I can do it or not.”(continued)

During interviews Trump needs to bring on brutalized victims and the family members of victims at the hands of illegal alien. This would be very easy to do. Allow them to tell America what happened to them.

Put them in front of the cameras. Take them to interviews and the debates.

Actually Trump and Bernie seem to be in agreement on a lot of important issues only Bernie never gets called out.

"Why should anyone be surprised that truth-telling is suddenly popular in Republican ranks. The voting stiffs get so little of it".

The GOPe is literally sh!tting themselves.

But, expect big money to be expended SOON to quash the "nativist" uprising.

Title was truth tellers - with Cruz & Trumps name, and this post is about Christie? I don’t need some RINO telling stating he is mofo-ing honest and says what he means! Geese, defend Trump! Trounce the corporations punishing him for his viewpoint! Show me! Call the them out! Point out the truth of the statistics! Talk up the issue! Oh, what’s that you want amnesty for illegal aliens? Krauthammer’s right. Pass.

You seem to forget, all the nationally broadcasted malicious vile allegations of racism directed at Trump were not about amnesty. They were Trump’s truthful words about vicious crimes perpetrated by illegal aliens against American citizens.

How did Christie suddenly get thrown in the mix?

Somebody post his bromance beach pic with his arm around the Kenyan.

It's the only way to play their game. Liars and the evil can't deal with truth. They considered the truth Trump spoke of to be insensitive, callous and said he used derogatory racist words against Mexican law breakers. They attacked Trump for saying the truth. Bring on the American victims and their families. Air the video clips of their brutal sudden life changing stories.

I am confident the folks in the Trump camp are already preparing and ramping up for this.

Facebook is ON FIRE with liberals spewing hate and fascism against Trump. We know he is over the target by the amount of flack he’s attracting.

I say good for him! Keep speaking truth to power!

Everyone who has suffered or knows someone who has suffered at the hands of a criminal Illegal Alien (or even a “legal” Mexican Criminal) will vote Trump—and thats a lot of people. Besides all the Latinos who are “Offended” are Democrats who are slobering to vote for Mrs. Clinton and Free Stuff—they will NEVER vote GOP.

As I said earlier, we will be able to tell just how serious Trump is by how quickly he follows up on this breach he has created in the media/Rats defenses. They fury they are throwing into their defense indicates just how serious a breach it is. We shall see. This could indeed get interesting. More to come.

I’m glad he is saying things that rile the libs. Good for him.

Let him take flak. Let him draw out the fascists and hate mongers. Let him ignite the debates. It will let the conservatives in the field know what they’re up against and give them a chance to hone their responses and arguments.

On too many issues, Trump is liberal. Amnesty and gay marriage are 2 of them. Overall, I’m not a Trump fan, but I do appreciate that fact that he’s willing to say outlandish non-politically correct things.

Trump and Christie are liberals in my book.

Cruz looks the most conservative to me, at this point. Sometimes Walker is a fighter, but I was dismayed to find out his connections to the Bush clan.

Longer. I grew up in New Mexico. At age 9 our neighbor was a Border Patrol officer. Wore a uniform to work. Drove a SUV type vehicle before they were on the market.

Our Methodist church at the same time took boxes of massa and fruit with soap and toothbrushes to abandoned Army Air bases where they used to train bomber crews for WW II in North Africa. At nine it seemed odd to me the Border Patrol had trouble finding the braceros that the Methodists found so easily. My mother said it was “complicated”.

Both parents had family in Denver and we visited every summer. I learned about “who was Washington” in Washington Park. I had so many aunts, uncles, cousins, etc. we had an annual softball game and fielded both teams with plenty of grandparents and us kids in the stands. I vividly remember Washington Park in the sixties. Beautiful weather, highs in the low 90s with no humidity, plenty of shade.

In the 80s while in college in Boulder we were to visit aunts and uncles in Denver and I told the wife we should do a pick nick in Washington Park beforehand as I had such fond memories and our usual picknik destinations were all in the mountains. It was a huge park and we arrived late morning and it was over run by La Raza. I was not in fear of Bandidos or La Raza and had spent time in the company of both on multiple occasions but I was not about to be the only gringo and bride in a multitude of these people even in that decade.

My return visits to the SW of my youth in subsequent decades have revealed an even greater emergence of Aztlan. America may not be what it was in the 60s but the SW is UNDENIABLY not. When the daughter and her husband lived in Atlanta just a few years ago I was astonished to make a turn and find myself in a neighborhood that I could not distinguish from the Juarez and Chihuahua I visited in my teens. I was quite surprised to find block after block of authentic Mexico in Georgia.

Deer hunting on a bow stand in VA a decade or so ago I heard tunes wafting through the trees I recognized immediately from my Army years in Panama as unmissable Salsa. Now I absolutely love Salsa and my wife and I can do turn after turn the make Latinos jealous. I love Quatro Quarnta. I don’t speak Spanish as well as Jeb, but... When I got back to the clubhouse I asked about the music. I was quite surprised to hear nonchalantly that there were a number of old abandoned farmhouses throughout the woods that were well known to be occupied with Mexicans. “They actually are very hard workers...”

Point being, I have witnessed first hand over decades the slow invasion of our country by illegal aliens. You can call me a racist hater all you want but I know for a fact I have spent far more time in the company of Latinos than just about any white person who might make that accusation.

Just as Castro unloaded the Marielitos Mexico, Honduras, and El Salvador have off loaded their problems to a great degree just not in one big, recognizable slug. The 18th street gang ain’t named for a street in Salvador but one in LA.

Everything above in this post I know personally, firsthand, to be fact. Say what you will but if these facts don’t fit in your theory then you need to take your theory back to the drawing board.

I just realized the proposed picnic to Wash Park was in the 70s, not 80s. Life had taken a new twist in the 80s.

Funny, in a post below this one, they show Trump and Cruz near the bottom for the debates....

Someone, and I know who, is lying.
