This quote is from a statement put out by Trump concerning Macy's. He nails it.
"Both Macy's and NBC totally caved at the first sight of potential difficulty with special interest groups who are nothing more than professional agitators, who are not looking out for the people they purport to represent, but only for themselves. It is people like this who are actually running our country because our leaders are weak and ineffective."
There is so much truth in that statement, especially the last line. Nobody stands up to those morons and the basically make policy by screaming and whining and the press dutifully echoes it.
I don't know where Trump will go but at LEAST he's saying things that need to be said.
OK, so Trump is goring some of the smaller P.C. oxen.

Absolutely Trump’s bombastic tirades of the unvarnished truth are making their mark with a diverse bunch of political persuasions.
We have all been marked as fools and political psych operations must surely be in full swing, but regardless who one supports for president, conservatives should accept that they must defend the truth wherever it can be found.
Cruz is astute enough to understand that and has defended Trump.
Trump may certainly flame out, and it’s true that much of what he seems to believe has given conservatives heart burn, but right now he is on the fox’s trail and I find myself grateful.
And to think... last night, on the local NBC channel, there were numerous replayed advertisements for:
“The NBC/Macy’s 4th of July Show!!”
Trump is taking on the whole political class; DC, Congress, the White House, the Republicans, Democrats, the media, foreign (ahem) policy, economic theft of the USA, the border collapse, China, Mexico.
The reason it’s selling is Trump makes it so damn simple. Truth is funny like that. Wherever and whenever he speaks truth, he should be defended.
Who is he missing? No one, really. This crazy guy can’t be bought, politically of financially, and is willing to fire a way through the smoke and mirrors.

So refreshing to see someone standing and saying like it is...something we haven’t seen for so long...
Here's what I like too: Trump is experienced in politics. You don't get where he is without knowing how politics works. He's probably greased the palms of quite a few politicians in his lifetime and he knows what they're after. On the other had, he doesn't need money. He doesn't need power. If it's an ego thing, fine. At least he's publicly stating the right things.

That’s another thing, and a very good point. All these candidates have to have inflated egos to make this insane run in the first place, but they must “perform” as if they are humble pie, right out of the oven of Ma and Pa Kettle! But, not Trump.
Trump let’s it all hang out there and he just erupts and sprays the nation with the unvarnished truth. Even the parts we don’t like, and his targets are scrambling like a poked bee hive. :)
