If you look at the numbers only 43% of Millenials choose "extremely proud". Mission Accomplished from out educational system. Also, isn't diversity wonderful. Only 47% of Democrats chose "extremely proud". The Obamas has made patriotism unfashionable.

Sorry, but I am no longer proud to be an American. American women have killed 56 MILLION of their own babies....now we have wholesale GAY EVERYTHING BEING CELEBRATED, and Obama was twice elected and Hillary is next......I’m overwhelmed by the Stupid people in this country.

Just as America bullied countries around the world to legalize abortion, even sent them money so they could implement abortion, perfected abortion techniques they could export around the world — I expect our country to do the same with gay marriage. Obama has already “punished” Uganda for their anti-gay laws.

I’m ashamed of a country that has so fully and completely embraced practices that are abominations to God. The Bible says that nations will be held accountable for the shedding of innocent blood.

America will be judged by God and I believe it will be swift and harsh. So am I proud to be American? No.

it’s funny- Moochelle said ‘for the first time in her l ife’ she was ‘proud to be an American’

And for the first time in my life, I am now ashamed of what the left have done to this country- Weird what they are proud of and what we are proud of-

Have you watched the "history" channel lately? Almost every prime time program now tears the fabric of what we consider our heritage.

The narrative for these programs usually starts out like "This is a lie that you were taught in school..."

I often wonder how the German people felt as they saw Hitler and his minions take their country from them. Before Hitler, Germany was the European leader in science, the arts, industry and civilized progress in general and coming out of the aftermath of WW1 nicely. Then, on the promise by a glib community organizer of what was basically, “Hope and Change” they plummeted to the cellar in every department and will forever retain the shame that went with it. History, history, history.

It’s one thing to love this country. Many do.

It’s another thing to be proud of how we are doing. Few are.

I heard Rush's segment yesterday about the article that said that some (significant) number of young people would gladly move to another country (and leave the United States behind) if they could find more economic opportunity there.

At first I found it depressing.

But then, later in the day, I was thinking...

I grew up in the 1960s and '70s. If someone had polled the teenaged and early-20s baby boomers about "would they leave America if they could," I bet at least as many would have answered as the millenials did in the survey Rush quoted.

That time period was very chaotic compared to today. Riots in every major city. Multiple political assassinations - two a time span of less than three months in 1968.

The draft, the campus riots, the baby-boomer demographic effect... when you add it all up, the typical baby boomer thought the USA sucked.

The type of survey Rush quoted might have placed the number at 75%, I think might be a plausible guess.

Teenagers and most 20-somethings are ignorant. Always have been, always will be.

The left is taking over EVERYWHERE and no one is stopping them.

Yeah, the lack of pushback is totally unAmerican.

As an American military veteran, the Continental 48 is the best place on the globe for me.

As a ‘seasoned citizen’, I might say that we could dump 47% of the existing examples of the gene pool, just to see the bottom of the mess, before we clear it up.

As a ‘seasoned Nativist’, the percentage just might be fiddled with, a bit more or so.

What does it mean to be an American anymore?

After last week, what is there left to be proud of except if you are some kind of sexual deviant?

The rainbow flag now flies over the White House. American Citizens are second class citizens and illegal invaders now hold the government of the United States in their hands.

Happy 4th of July.
