As Independence Day approaches, most in the U.S. say they are proud to be an American, including a slight majority, 54%, who are "extremely proud." The percentage saying they are "extremely proud" is slightly lower than in recent years and down from peaks at and around 70% between 2002 and 2004, after 9/11.

Sorry, but I am no longer proud to be an American. American women have killed 56 MILLION of their own babies....now we have wholesale GAY EVERYTHING BEING CELEBRATED, and Obama was twice elected and Hillary is next......I’m overwhelmed by the Stupid people in this country.
Just as America bullied countries around the world to legalize abortion, even sent them money so they could implement abortion, perfected abortion techniques they could export around the world — I expect our country to do the same with gay marriage. Obama has already “punished” Uganda for their anti-gay laws.
I’m ashamed of a country that has so fully and completely embraced practices that are abominations to God. The Bible says that nations will be held accountable for the shedding of innocent blood.
America will be judged by God and I believe it will be swift and harsh. So am I proud to be American? No.

The narrative for these programs usually starts out like "This is a lie that you were taught in school..."
Me too! America has been fundamentally changed by liberals and communists from being a melting pot, to being a sorting bin! How can there be an expectation in pride of being a AMERICAN when people have been taught and trained to put their hypheNATION first? How can we come together as a nation when our schools and politicians do all they can to separate us?

I don’t even love my country anymore......I don’t recognize the place anymore.
Public radio did a story yesterday in response to Independence Day. I listed just long enough to catch traffic reports and then hear them talk about how bad the Founding Fathers were in their treatment of the Indians after the Revolutionary War. I should know better than to listen to them; I was hoping for something positive - as if that was even a remote possibility.
How can any Christian not be ashamed of America?
I often wonder how the German people felt as they saw Hitler and his minions take their country from them. Before Hitler, Germany was the European leader in science, the arts, industry and civilized progress in general and coming out of the aftermath of WW1 nicely. Then, on the promise by a glib community organizer of what was basically, “Hope and Change” they plummeted to the cellar in every department and will forever retain the shame that went with it. History, history, history.
Then get out.
That’s only true if you recognize liberal usurpers as American. They aren’t.
The USA as subverted by liberals is not the only one pushing the homosexual marriage agenda. Remember David Cameron expressing his perverse desire to “export gay marriage around the world”? never mind the UK as ruled by the Labour Party being the first Western society to pass an Abortion Act?
Define “America”.
Remember Obama keeps saying “America” instead of “the USA” on most occasions.
We still are the shining city on the hill.
It’s one thing to love this country. Many do.
It’s another thing to be proud of how we are doing. Few are.
How I wish I could but financially I can’t and I wouldn’t want to leave my children and new granddaughter. If I could just bundle us all up and move, I would. I don’t think America will ever get back to where we were, especially if Hillary is elected, which is a real possibility.
Just as I wouldn’t defend one of my children if they committed a horrible crime, I won’t defend my country for what it has become. I don’t see much left to be proud of.

I do not see that technological innovation was typically hampered by Adolf’s regime, whatever else it was or did. And frankly, the vast majority of Germans did buy the propaganda or else Adolf would have gotten nowhere; the socialistic roots of the Bismarck-influenced Second Reich were still in place during the Weimar Republic, with the Kaiser merely replaced with a Präsident.
