This says it all.
I quit the VFW after they endorsed Barbra Boxer for Senate. Useless political organization.
Censored by, of all people, Veterans of Foreign Wars. It’s obvious that Muslims have most of America by the ying-yang. Free speech, RIP.
Some folks want to think of Islam as just another religion. It isn’t.
That one is very dangerous. It doesn’t want to co-exist with any other ideology.
They have opened themselves up to a great big law suite as they would certainly be sued if they had cancelled a gay wedding service. 14th amendment and all.
And there you have it, Mr. Bukowski.
I have been approached many times in an effort to get me to join this organization.
I am a veteran of two foreign wars and I'm definitely eligible, but the attitude displayed by this butt head of a "commander" is one of several that tells me to stay the hell away from them.
Send me some more free address labels, though, if you please.
American Legion, you too.
It’s possible to conduct a seminar on Islam, and produce fliers for such, without giving the impression that you are organizing a lynch mob for Muslims.
The same thing happened to our Tea Party.
The School Board took the side of CAIR and the local NAACP and threw us out of the High School hours before our “Truth About Islam” event was supposed to take place, violating the contract we had with them.
We sued the School District for violating our First Amendment Rights and won!

Should’ve promoted it as “Dangers of Islam, followed by Gay Wedding Ceremony” - no way anybody could shut it down then.
Fixed it.
“It ain’t what we’re about,” —
Glug, glug, glug
Afraid of getting blown up.
So many bizarre things have happened in the last week that nothing is a shock anymore. Even the VFW folding up the flag ( not even the Confederate one) is not that unusual now.
They should have asked them to bake a cake for the talk.
” It aint what were about.

They are obviously not about proper English either.
.
I’m a life member of the VFW and I rarely set foot in one. They are no longer anything like what they were supposed to be. They only do the bare minimum for Vets nowadays. Sad.
Most are just private neighborhood bars with some bozo dictating who can and can’t come in unless they are simply passing through.
Those who started these must be rolling over, no, spinning in their graves about now.
In my humble opinion; their usefulness has run its course. It would not be a loss if they all shut down at this point.
They no longer have any clout with the VA anyway. Let this dying dog die a quick and painless death.
I've had "the" conversations with Vietnam Vets at the local VFW, as a guest, and don't want any more. I am a life member of the American Legion... and for some peculiar reason I am (more) amongst my own kind there. Not sure if that is a schism nationwide or not. Not disrespecting my brothers and sisters in uniform on their service in uniform downrange, one iota.
Spent 40 months downrange myself in the ME, but not in service to Uncle Sam. Plenty of 107mm rockets stopped by to say hello.
GET SOME!
