Why can’t they blur out the Confederate flag? It is done all the time. Why is that so hard to figure out?
Because in doing so it becomes obvious that they are censoring something for people's own good, and they will react to it negatively.
Removing the whole thing keeps such uncomfortable questions ("What's under that blur?") from being asked.
