With regard to the crucifixions. They appear to be mostly a display of people killed using other methods, or a punishment for a relatively brief period, taken down while still alive.
Haven’t (yet) seen evidence of their using nailing to a cross as a method of execution.
It won’t be long before Turkey invades from the north and takes over Lebanon, booting out Hizbolla and then taking the Shiite and Alawite areas of Syria (western). ISIS will take eastern Syria and the Suni parts of Iraq. Iraq and Syria will cease to exist. Then war with Iran.

To be perfectly fair, Iraq, Syria and Lebanon are artificial creations with artificial boundaries established 100 years ago by Euro powers for their own purposes. Of course, so are most former colonies in Africa, etc.
No rational reason such boundaries should be considered sacred for all time.
With possible rare exceptions, every school in America is utterly vulnerable to such an attack. Hopefully, our cops and troops would handle it better than the Russians and Indians did, but the slaughter will still be horrifying.
