Since CC and Jeb draw from the same well (GOPEs and RINOs), I can only regard this is as good news.

GOPe plan proceeding right on track. Split the primary vote 39 ways and hand Jeb the nomination in a brokered convention.

San Antonio radio station, in its on the hour news update, told me that the “conservative” governor of NJ was entering the race. Now I find out it’s Christie....

So.... if the founding fathers hadn’t compromised, we’d still be under the rule of England? That’s odd because I thought they killed the other side.

Either the GOP entrants are salivating at what they believe is an easy victory over a stale, corrupt, old, bitter woman OR
we have a bunch of people in this “Hey look at me” generation out for free publicity and perhaps some extra cash that might come from the attention (books, board seats, speeches, admin job, etc)

I don't really think he is. True, like Donald Trump and unlike General Sherman, if nominated he
would accept. But I doubt he thinks he has a realistic chance. I think he's practicing for 2020 if Hillary wins, or 2024 if she doesn't.
He's only 52 years old (he looks older because of the weight). He has, well, eons until he reaches Hillary's ripe old age.

Bakers say "I shouldn't be forced out of my cake business!"
Christie says "CAKE!!!"

Likely it’s just a ploy to crowd a more conservative voice off the debate stage.

I'm of a mind that he's no RINO, he's mainstream GOP - rock-solid REPUBLICAN! He's not fringe.
Me, on the other hand, I'm a Republican in Name Only.
