Considering that The Almighty told Noah He would put his bow in the heavens after a rain as a sign He would never again destroy the world by water, the homosexuals co-opting that sign to ‘celebrate’ what is noted in scripture as an abomination to Him is a slap in the face to The Almighty Himself.
In connection with this: modern civil government gets its heavenly mandate not from the Ten Commandments but from the Noahide commandments.
Yes, there is no mandate for governments to require worshipful fealty to God as such, or Sabbath keeping, or lifetime fealty to parents.
However requiring sexual fidelity to marriage IS a mandate.
Why bring this up? Good theology is supported by the Lord. (And it avoids vulnerability to strawmen.)
