From: Gary L. Bauer

I read through a lot of angry messages about the Supreme Court in my email this morning. I'm not surprised. Unfortunately, we're stuck with Obamacare for now.

Simply put, elections have consequences. And right now we're suffering through the negative consequences of elections that took place almost ten years ago when Democrats took control of Congress.

But here's the good news: A Republican president and a Republican Congress CAN REPEAL OBAMACARE IN 2017!

And we can also CHANGE THE COURT!

The men and women we elect to the White House and the Senate nominate and confirm the judges who serve on our courts, including the Supreme Court.

Four justices of the Supreme Court are 76 years-old or older.

The odds are overwhelming that the next president we elect will fundamentally change the ideological balance of the Supreme Court.

This issue alone would be worth every effort you can possibly make and every dime you could possibly invest between now and next November to ensure that we take back the White House and hold the Senate!

But they won’t do so. If a GOP Congress that voted overwhelmingly for DOMA in 1996, and another riding high after the Presidential and Congressional victories in 2004 wouldn’t do so, then what hope is there now?

Then they could have stripped the courts of jurisdiction and enjoyed public support for doing so. Now the public would oppose it, and besides, it’s too late. Our masters on the Sup Cpurt have spoken, and as Rubio, Bush, and all respectable Republicans say, we must meekly obey and move on.

“We cannot quit. We can no more walk away from the culture war than we could walk away from the Cold War. For the culture war is at its heart a religious war about whether God or man shall be exalted, whose moral beliefs shall be enshrined in law, and what children shall be taught to value and abhor. With those stakes, to walk away is to abandon your post in time of war”

Buchanan 1999

“We’re worse off than we were before the Republicans had control of the US Senate.”

The most profound and true words I’ve heard in days.

I don’t “know” many things...

But if yyou are speaking of my assertion President Obama would have nominated a car left moonbat, then I will agree, I don’t “know” that. However he has an exceptional track record on the matter. I stand by that assertion with confidence.

If you are referring to my assertion that the GOP Senate would roll over, I simply point to the facts. Justice Sotomayor received 68 votes for confirmation, and Justice Kagan 63. At the time we had the seats for a filibuster. Senator Graham was among those who voted for her confirmation. So, do I “know” they would have rolled over had there been a Bork to replace in 2012? One can never know something that never came to pass. But the tendencies of these senators is a matter of record... and I stand by my assertion.

Jindal’s comments have given me an idea, I don’t know why I didn’t think of it sooner, of course the (w)ussies would never do it but...

Why wait for a-holes to retire to change the court? Remember FDR’s court packing plan? Well there you go. Add new seats and stock them with conservatives. Or maybe do the opposite if possible, legislatively abolish some of the associate justice seats, say 5 of them (Can’t get rid of Chief Roberts though). Then establish new vacant seats. If indeed abolishing seats is feasible you could do it to the lower courts too. The screams of liberals would be like the sweetest music.

All it takes is a President and Congressional majority with the will/balls (including a Senate willing to rule filibusterers out of order) , which of course will never happen.

But seriously, it’s time to go outside the box, America needs help by any means necessary. Obama and these Supreme Shi*s have left Lady Liberty broken, bruised, and HIV positive. Libs abuse the process, we need to abuse it even worse to undo the damage they’ve done.

Unfortunately for the Democrats, the wanna-be “First Female President” is an old, tired, shrill-voiced harridan whose campaign this weekend had to give away tickets to see her so the photographers could have a crowd.

The “First Female President” may have to wait this go-round.

This is inside the beltway talk pure and simple. Talk designed to solicit contributions for the next election cycle.

The political system of electing representatives of the people has failed.

Any efforts to reverse or alleviate the pain caused by USSC decisions will be either shot down in the legislative process by corporate elite pressure, vetoed by executive branches under corporate elite pressure or if signed into law by executive branches, the judicial branches will kill the laws.

THE ALTERNATIVE IS RESISTANCE......’WE SHALL OVERCOME’ ANYONE........

To quote another’s words : “...Dead to me”. Of course the other does lie a great deal so this might be changed and amended at any given time. The pubbies have become rusty, untrustworthy, and ashes in the wind. Being rusty, old, and useless they belong in the Junk Heap, scrap yard of the city dump.

Before voting the candidate now must show spine, determination and true Conservative principles before this vote might be cast for them. Notice to any Conservative pubbies...in order to win, you must lose the baggage and strike your on path to victory.

Pack the court? In theory it would make sense to expand the SCOTUS to 11 or 13 seats because that is the number of federal judicial circuits and every justice is supposed to "represent" one (currently, several justices represent two or more federal circuits). I'd say expand it to 11 seats, the D.C. circuit and national circuit don't need representation on SCOTUS, but each region of the country should get their "own" Justice.

Expanding it now would be lunacy though, it was FDR's court-packing plan because it would benefit the President. 2 or more "new" SCOTUS seats are created and Obama would then name the justices. If we expanded the court from 9 to 13 seats this year, It would go from 5-4 Republican majority to a 8-5 RAT majority on the court on the court after Obama names four socialists to the newly created seats! That makes no sense.

Shrinking the size of the court would make more sense, I'm not sure how they'd decide which judges would be forced off the court if they cut it down to only 5 seats. I think the only time in history they shrunk the seats was during the civil war when it went from 10 to 9 seats, and I think they waited until a Justice died and then just abolished his position.
