Remember when Barney Frank insisted in 2003 that Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac are not in a crisis, and I want to roll the dice a little bit more in this situation toward subsidized housing?
As chairman of the powerful House Financial Services Committee, former Rep. Frank, Massachusetts Democrat, helped defeat Bush administration proposals to rein in the two federal loan giants. The housing market crashed in 2008 on thousands of bad subprime home loans, triggering the Great Recession, from which this nation still has not recovered.
Well, its time to roll the dice again. According to the 5-4 majority opinion at the U.S. Supreme Court on Thursday, housing lawsuits based on race no longer need proof of intentional discrimination.

Evidently our laws are now all written in Newspeak, rather than English.
As I’ve explained before, the real-world version of Newspeak sounds much more like English than the fictional one (though it does sport absurd neologisms almost as ridiculous as “doubleplus ungood”, words like “cisheteronormative” spring to mind). In it, however, words and phrases have no determinate meaning, and can take on different meanings as serves the interests of the left, even changing meaning from when they were written or spoken if the original meaning ceases to serve.
Thus “racist” in Newspeak can denote the same thing as the English word “racist” or the same thing as the English phrases “white person” or “critic of a policy the left fancies serves the interests of racial minorities”. “Health care” can mean the same as the English phrase, what physicians and nurses provide, or the same as the English phrases “health insurance” or “government-designed health insurance”, as suits the need.
“Housing discrimination” can now mean the same as the English phrase, or describe anything the left fancies might make it harder for black folks (or folks with ancestors in Latin America) to buy houses. “Established by the state” could mean what it says or “established by the state or the Federal government”. And, of course “marriage” in Newspeak can have the same denotation as the English “marriage” or the English “civil union”.
(For us who still speak English:
If the Supreme Court of the United States calls a tail a leg, how many legs would a dog have?
Four. The SCOTUS calling a tail a leg does not make it a leg.)
I predict Ferrari Sales to Trial Lawyers will triple in the next few years.
Between queers filling for divorce in a few years and the “no-proof-in-housing-discrimination” lawsuits, we may end up with an actual shortage of lawyers!
No one saw THAT coming!
Oh, the Huge Manatee!
How will the country survive?

it is fascinating how so much of the house buying nowadays is by foreign money .. or is arranged through these sorts of federal ‘don’t have to be able to repay much, if at all’ programs.
meanwhile, many or most working (those who still have jobs) Americans are unable to purchase homes (and the percentage of renters... and multi-generational households where Junior is still living in Mommy’s basement at age 33)..... are going Up and Up.
By allowing our homes to be sold to foreigners...at least en masse as we see today.... and by promoting the transfer of properties to politicially-favored people who can’t pay for them....... our governmental policies are destabilizing both the realty market (again) and our society as a whole.
we are being ‘transformed’ indeed.......but not in a positive direction
It’s another nail in the coffin; and a loss in 2016 will pretty much bring the show to an end and the fat lady singing.
...that’s exactly what ‘slob boy in the oval office’ wants...gangs, homeless, druggies, high crimes in the middle of our high gated communities....
...he has to have drama everyday or he’s not satisfied...
...people who think they know it all, are above all others, can’t have anything quiet, calm...have you noticed since ‘slob boy’ has taken office how much hatred there is?
Scotus will use it even more widely than “just” housing.
Yup. That's the logical end to all of this!
Rage is the wrong emotion for these confused idiots. It's laughter and ridicule that we should shower on them.
These "decisions" and their ludicrous "rationale" doesn't even merit rational discussion, just hilarious contempt.
It’s time to get out of the renting business.
If no proof is needed, we have no reliable court system anymore. At all levels our courts are jokes.
Back in the early Eighties, I sold Real Estate. Our company had converted a beautiful apartment building on Van Aken Blvd. in Shaker Heights Ohio, into condos. One day a White couple came in, I showed them around and gave my spiel. They left, and 5 minutes later, in came a Black couple. Gave them the exact same info. Two months later, the same couples appeared again. Hmmmmm! They were testing me to see if I gave different info to different races. This went on a lot back then. Really ticked me off! I would’ve sold to anybody back then! Real Estate was in bad shape with high mortgage rates.
if anyone asks your race, say ‘african american’ regardless of your current skin color.
welcome to transracial america.
the survey calls definitely get more interesting when you do.
getting into college is much easier.
and you’ll get loans, grants, free money as well as loads of ‘0bama stuff’.
He basically said that the SCOTUS changed nothing but reaffirmed a Practice that has been dealt with by every Appeals Court for the past 40 Years.
Can anyone here review that Post to see if it makes any sense? I am not a Lawyer, I do not play one on TV and I didn't stay in a Holiday Inn Express last night.
Vigilantes and fire. Duh.
Solutions I see popping up really fast:
* affordable housing communities for old black people
* nursing homes approved in many communities with lots of nursing home beds reserved for minorities, providing affordable housing for the neediest, generating caregiver jobs and meeting demographic quotas
* servants’ quarters get classified as affordable housing for the Hispanic servants
* mother in law suites start getting approved and built, especially for anyone with an ethnic last name
* the neighborhoods that denied applications for homes for the retarded start approving them quickly, so they can say they have affordable housing / government housing for the neediest (the group is disproportionately non-white), since there are fewer problems with 30 year olds who have the IQ of a 3 year old than several Section 8 households
Its beyond time to end this farce of a union. We don’t have a Supreme court we have Supreme leaders who do whatever they feel like, law or constitution be damned. Its time for the a great national divorce. Southern Governors need to kick the feds out and take control of all nuclear and military resources in their states and tell the Federal Government pound sand or be turned into glass.
Don’t worry. This decision will only be used to destroy communities the Left feels need to be destroyed. Like, everything between the Appalachians and the Rocky Mountains.
Its what the USA needs. The only problem is that what replaces it may be far worse. Anyway, if you want to know where US "democracy" is headed - look at Argentina.
The coming collapse of America is not accidental. It is being engineered from outside by the UN, the communists, and the rich and powerful who will rule the New World Order after America falls from power.
They were doomed to lose until they infiltrated America’s schools, universities, media, hollywood, churches, labor unions, and local government.
The forces engineering our collapse are from without but the tool they have used to manifest this decline and fall are the useful idiot commie lib Democrats and their voting sympathizers WITHING the USA. The enemy within is our doom. The enemy outside had no chance without them.
They are above the law. You can’t impeach them. They will just rule that they are immune from impeachment.
I'm OK with that. Losing Arizona, New Mexico and Nevada is a small price to pay to pawn California off on the Mexicans. Let them deal with all the commie libs in California.
