Cue the backlash!

Following this morning's history-making Supreme Court Decision on marriage equality, Vikings cornerback Josh Robinson took to Twitter to condemn gay marriage in a series of homophobic tweets. He event compared marriage equality to incest and pedophilia.

"Love is love? So what will we say when the 30yr old loves YOUR 10 year old. When the dad loves HIS 6 year old? It's different? Yea okay!" the 24-year-old football star wrote Friday. "The day one person makes that stand, some may support, but many will say that's sick! That day I will say ‘hypocrites.'"

"When did we start defining a word by using that word? Smh. If you really want to know. Love is… 1Cor 13:1-13," added citing Bible verses.

Robinson continued on his rant with, "In the end EVERYONE has a right to believe what they want to believe. You shared yours, I shares mine. #BelieveiT," followed by, "‘As a Christian I love EVERYONE and I will always share my beliefs we may not agree and that's ok. God is love, 1John 4:8.'"

Shortly after, former Vikings punter Chris Kluwe poked fun at Robinson and responded to his tweets with, "Predicting ‘my account was hacked' in three... two... one..."

Robinson also made his Twitter profile private after his controversial postings.

i’ve been thinking what you are saying.

and btw,as you know there are late night talk shows on tv. back in the day I was a avid Carson fan never went to bed w/o him. these days you have all these characters on the tube and I noticed something on this past friday.

It was about Jimmy Fallon & he was in the news &he had been admitted into hospital for “serious hand injury” & was in according to one report in ICU . It was also reported he would not be available for this past Friday night (taping of)

I don’t know anything about Fallon but I googled him & turns out he’s non-practicing catholic.

& then it struck me = he wasn’t going to be available this past Friday to comment on the SCOTUS ruling on same sex marriage- aka known as the biggest sickening newsday in US. I thought it interesting but on the other hand I have no clue on his personal belief system or subsequent appearances where he would endorse SCOTUS.

anyone hear Fallon endorse SCOTUS on same sex marriage?

Friday was sickening news indeed.

If Fallon is asked, I’m sure he would publicly endorse the SCOTUS pro-gay decision or else Hollywood would boycott his show. Non-practicing Catholics like him are worthless. They vote Democrat while church-going Catholics go Republicans.

Here’s something interesting:

Tyler TX :

https://www.dioceseoftyler.org/news/2015/06/bishop-stricklands-statement-on-u-s-supreme-court-decision/

Then we have Archdioces of Wash DC
compliments of Cardinal blogger himself Donald (aka Donna) Wuerl

http://cardinalsblog.adw.org/2015/06/the-implications-of-the-supreme-courts-ruling-on-same-sex-marriage/

I’m providing examples of widely disparate viewpoints within the Catholic Church and red state/blue state

It would be impossible to research every single diocese/archdiocese within the US -these are simply two samples

thanks. good to see Catholic leaders speaking up. Even Wuerl doesn’t sound too bad.
