You should all note that I did not question the size of the wolf -- just the validity of that particular photo.

Here are some observations on that photo:

I've examined it closely, and, if it is a "'Shopjob", it is, technically, fairly skillfully done. IOW, it looks far more authentic than 0b0z0's so-called "Birth certificate"...
The wolf in that photo was either photographed lying on his side, and then was trimmed and pasted in -- (see #47)
OR -- The Wolf was dead and rigor mortis was well-developed. (Note the straight-out forelegs (as in #47) -- and compare them with the "drooped" forelegs/paws in the other photos/)
I have a 140-lb dog, and have tried to put him (tranquilized at the vet's) into the back of our van. it took two of us, because he was like wrestling 140 lbs of jelly!
Most telling, I defy any ordinary human to pick up a big animal like that -- without "doing a dance" to get/keep your feet under you and under the animal's center of gravity. IOW, where is the "trampling"in the snow where the lady hoisted the critter -- or where others helped her hoist it?
Anyway, if that woman actually is holding that heavy critter like that, I certainly wouldn't be inclined to "mess with" her! '-)

FYI: yes, we are retired back home on the ancestral family farm in the far Northeastern Texas Piney Woods. Here, deer are almost a plague -- and they love to graze on the well-maintained ROWs of Texas' Farm-to-Market roads -- like the one we live on.

But, our main "pest animal" are feral hogs. Hitting a deer is bad news, but hitting one of those hogs at highway speed usually means a totaled vehicle...

Their meat is so rank that it will contaminate venison that comes into contact with it. But, a long soak in cooler with several changes of ice and rock salt can render it somewhat edible...

Getting a "bead" on one through the thick timber here is extremely difficult. But, I just had 60+acres of timber "row thinned" -- so, I now have lots of "clear shot lanes" to rectify that problem...

On the main subject of the article:

There is a move afoot to re-populate our area with the near-extict "Red River Wolf". But, knowing the "SSS" proclivities of these East Texas Rednecks, that will probably be an uphill battle... '-)
