Perhaps because they don’t see and hear with “spiritual” eyes and ears. God’s way or man’s way.

We have the Mormons, who we cannot offend. We have the Catholics, who we cannot offend (I used to be a Catholic). We have the lukewarm "christians" who we cannot offend. We have the atheists, who we cannot offend. We have the agnostics, who we cannot offend.
The percentage of true Christians here is greater than the general population, but true followers of Jesus Christ here is (in my estimation) less than 20%.
A whole lot of ugly, for one thing.
And weird, for another.
REALLY weird.
So few are paying attention. Life still seems “normal” to a lot of Americans. Most that I have met over the last few years are totally oblivious to the crashed job market and the real unemployment. Especially if they’ve been retired for about 10 years or more and living on SS and/or savings, or on the same job for the last 7 years or more. Most I’ve talked to in those situations think it’s a lot like 2005 where you could just walk out and make these things happen easily. I have learned it is not, the hard way. It’s the normalcy bias. Oh sure, they see the news, pay more for milk and meat, gas is down, etc. And are spoon-fed by the MSM day in, day out, morning, noon and night.
Eating, drinking, marrying, giving in marriage, building, planting ... it will all seem normal.
And then....

God’s just letting them think they won before He brings down the curtain.
My focus in prayer now is not necessarily for a turn around for our country. I think we’re in the end times, and that they’re on us at breakneck speed, and that certain scenarios have to play out for it all to happen.
What I’m praying for is a grass roots revival so that as many people can be saved as possible before it’s too late. I’m praying for opportunities to share my faith and give people that choice.

Where have guys like you been? I have been alone in the wilderness so long. I think we are days, months maybe away from the end. Most everyone I know have their fingers in their ears, singing lalalalalalalalala. All is well the next prez will do something. I really feel like Howard Dean when he did that screamy thing.
