When will the congress do its job?

When the voters start firing 90 percent of them; in other words, never!

Alito seems OK; I think he has strayed on occasion but can’t recall the cases.

Lindsey Graham was a big vocal backer of those two new commies. And see how SC rewarded him.

You have that "Constitutional Government" predjudice thing, don't you ?

I have a bad case of "Where's My Republic" so I sympathize.

He’s unfit to remain in his position. That needs to be based on the legality of what he did.

That would require a United States Senate with stones. I agree with your premise but I don't sense Mitch McConnell having the fortitude to try it.

It would require a constitutional amendment, and the American people won’t stand for those.

Not really, the duties outlined in the constitution are not very specific Congress can clip their wing if it so desires without an amendment they also control their spending. they can be reigned in in some ways if congress acts.

We wouldn’t have liked it if Obama came in and dismissed the court. We simply can’t do that

I wouldn’t have minded. Remember nowhere in the Constitution is the S. Ct. given the power to overturn legislation, state or federal. It basically stole that power in Marbury v. Madison.

I would rather let the people decide, flawed as they are, than have corrupt crony partisan senators pick them. Remember the present setup gave us Roberts, the two commies nominated by Obama and that dweeb, Kennedy.

Exactly. The common folk have an intuition that legislators lack.

Webster did not change the definition of marriage after 1868 and homosexual acts were a felony in every state of the union then. Today I am ashamed of this nation. So many without even a mustard seed of faith.

Yup. From now on the term “American citizen” is just something to tick off on a form.

Well, you know, we all want to change the world.

When does it start and where?

DE-FUND the feral givernment by 80% and everything will take care of itself..
When theres little money.. where it does (and doesn’t) go becomes very important..

SURE there will still be GRAFT.... BUT the graftees will start killing each other off.. jailing each other.. and robbing each other..

Price of popcorn should go thru the roof..

It’s not the court. Its the media. Topple the wire services and the big three networks, and replace them with actual journalists who can reason and gather actual facts and perform actual analysis, and liberty will have a chance.

Can we not take down the AP? Can we not take down the Huffington Post? Can we not ridicule and mock and ultimately remove the local editors at 10,000 local radio, television, and newspaper outlets (with AP and other wire feeds) across the 50 states?

Take down the AP and we will make a HUGE difference. If we don’t, we can topple the next ten Obamas and middle America will simply replace them with ten more Obamas.

It’s the media, stupid.

Everyone else has term limits. Why not the sucreme court? I don’t mind if they are elected various times but they need to be aware that the people can get rid of them somehow someway sometime.

or Create a HIGER COURT. There ought to be a way to create a higher court....you know without calling it a court....like they do with “agreements” not being called TREATIES.

Counterrevolution. What the Court has done is revolution from above.

FDR did not get Congress to go along with a reform of the Court but he got the Court to back off. The Chief Justice negotiated an informal deal with the Congress and so the reforms went nowhere. But by the end of his second term, FDR’s appointments had changed the Court’s views.

The jurisdiction of the court would be limited.
