I am guessing those Conservatives may retire rather than continue to participate in these charades.

Democrats are admitted idiots, Republicans hold themselves out as those who will stop the democrats. At least that is the MO that has worked since the GOP was formed in 1860. Republicans are the reason we are losing our country, our property rights and our future. Where are the Republican voices in congress that aren't blackmailed into submission?

Republicans rail against the democrats and are as corrupt if not worse. They take the votes of naive citizens and use them for personal wealth and power.

The system is broken, all three branches need to go away.

The usual suspects, I assume?

In five years polygamy will be legal in all 50 states by the action of unelected federal judges. In ten years, child marriages and every form of plural marriage will also be legalized by the courts.

The rule of the people in this country has ended and non elected judges make all the laws. We might as well disband Congress, make Obama president for life and let the courts decide every law.

No recusals? All 9 voted? Something wrong with that when two are officiating homosexual marriages. The government should get out of the business of issuing “marriage” certificates. Leave marriage to the church. If government wants to memorize relationships, then issue “civil unions”.

>> Congress can overturn a supreme court decision <<

But only if the POTUS doesn’t exercise his veto power — and the chances of such are exactly zero as long as the Dhimmis hold the Casa Blanca.

Yep. The SC has always been looked at as the entity within government that faithfully interprets the law. It now rules based on political correctness, rendering the Constitution meaningless.

They’re just part of big government. They’re tearing up the Constitution which means we shouldn’t recognize their authority.

If anyone thinks that The Almighty is going to let the abomination that is now America stand for very long, you’d better think again.

It’s past time for talking politics. It’s time to get right with your Maker.

The imposed legality of killing unborn people has been legal everywhere in the US for 40+ years. It’s surprising things aren’t farther along than ‘gay marriage,’ considering.

Next comes Polygamy. If words have any meaning whatsoever, it would seem to me that Constitutionally they would have an even better case. Where in the Constitution is that sort of union proscribed?

Great idea! Then we could get rid of that old guy, Scalia!

Yeah, I know.

Actually, we have been sliding into Liberalism for decades. But, with him at the helm, we have slid long and hard.

I can’t believe how much the world has changed in the last few years.

Roberts didn't have to vote with the left this time, there were enough votes for him to appear "balanced".

Already happening. The New York consumer affairs people just shut down a Jewish gay conversion-therapy practice for “consumer fraud.”

How can liberals justify not ruling polygamy constitutional in the future?

Or "marrying" your dog, cat or fire hydrant.

The worst aspect of this is that children no longer have a legal right to be raised by their natural parents.

Just imagine the consequences.

I have no idea why anyone is surprised by this. Hasn’t the writing on the wall made this decision entirely apparent?

The entire judiciary, but for a very few has been okaying gay marriage. The SC wasn’t going to go against the grain.

We sure have an insane level of simultaneous turmoil happening.
My hope is our terrorist enemies do not use our precarious "imbalance" as a strategic time to launch an attack.
This country has never been so divided as it is these days.
