Well I need to work on that. Because I hope to leave a lasting impression.

You sais you would submit to force. Thats an intention. then you said you would not submit. Thats a contradiction.

Both cannot be true whether or not I’m an asshole. And for the record, I am. But a logical one.

Yes, they cannot force them to marry as they are not a business, but I am pretty sure they can prevent the pastor from preaching against homosexuality from the pulpit. I say that because they are doing it in Canada. I think there have been huge fines and imprisonment for pastors that preach Romans 1.

I think U.S. Const. amend. I will protect the speech of the pastor/priest in the U.S.

And it's not a good political move if Obama goes after tax exempt status of faith-based believers because they oppose gay marriage. The conservative base will rally and the Republicans will win in 2016.

However, today is a bad day for Democracy.

I have spent a good amount of time in school and since then studying the Constitution and the law. I’m wondering what it was all for? If the Constitution says whatever a justice wants it to mean, then it means nothing.

It was Scalia’s dissent, not Roberts.

Obama today is given us the conservatives both middle fingers and laughing his head off. I’m sure he’s going to party tonight. I for one saw this coming the minute he flipped flopped on marriage. Obama will not stop until he gets what he wants.

"My pastor says he’ll personally burn our church down before a gay marriage takes place in it. I believe him."

Good, he will not bow down to the dictatorial state, but I hope that comment was private because I think we underestimate what is now going to happen to Christians who resist. The authorities could come after him for an arson threat, for instance. Traditional churches are going to be immediately challenged - gays will demand to be married in those churches, the IRS will revoke tax exempt status, non-believers and gays will file for jobs in churches and church schools, etc. In each of these cases EEO complaints and lawsuits will fly if there is any refusal to fully embrace the remade Amerika.

Ironfocus in Texas you said: “All Christians should prepare for unprecedented persecution. As an ordained minister, I categorically refuse to conduct, bless or approve of same-sex marriage.”

I am on the list of our Texas Attorney General, Ken Paxton, to be notified of requests he gets for legal opinions. I got an email from his office within minutes of this Supreme Court decision. Our Lt. Governor, Dan Patrick, had to have this request already written to send to Texas Attorney General Paxton if the Supreme Court sanctioned homo marriage.

Iron, you are a minister so you will be interested in knowing what comes down from Attorney General Paxton. I think you could refuse to marry homos at this time if you use the reason you are waiting on a ruling by our Attorney General. The reason I say this is due to freedom of religion, whether your religious beliefs will allow you not to marry homos as I expect that to be included in the attorney general’s opinion. Here is the notice I got (consider the rest in quotes):

Hi, Norm. Long time no talk.

You have sharpened your rapier wit to deal with a profane troll, I see.

On top of your game, as usual, but in this battle of wits, your opponent is only half armed.

Hi TOL, Hope all is well.

Just stating the simple facts he himself posted. If he’s too stupid to read his own words, he’s just contributing to the collective IQ drop of the site. Which seems considerable this past week.

There is the Crux of the decision right there, the 14th Amendment requiring the State to issue a License for Marriage.

The problem all along is the State being involved in the Marriage process at all. The solution then would seem to be for the State to do away with being involved at all and having no License for marriage. There would be no marriage by the State and no License by the state.

Yes, thank you. I am doing well. I’m half done with my year’s worth of chemo, which will be over
by December, and my hair has grown from 1/8” long to about 1/2” in the past couple of months.

All my hair, and I do mean ALL of it fell out, everywhere, but it’s growing back again on my legs,
arms, and other places where hairy Italian women grow hair, LOL!

Eyebrows and eyelashes are a bit recalcitrant, but they’ll be back as well, I hope.

You sound as if you’re just fine and sharp as ever. I hope you’re well and happy.

Lord, come quickly. It’s time to split the country. Put all the demoncrats, Obama-lovers and libs on one end and the God fearing conservatives on the other. May the best society win.
