Tunisia's Interior Ministry says two gunmen opened fire on a beach near two hotels in the coastal resort city of Sousse, killing at least seven people.

Interior Ministry Spokesman Mohammed Ali Aroui said that one of the gunmen was killed and police are pursuing the other.

Sousse, some 150 kilometers from Tunis, is a popular resort for both Tunisians and Europeans.

Aroui said the death toll could rise.

One thing I've noticed on cruises is that the ships management doesn't seem to be doing much if anything to assure security for the tours they sponsor.

The Radicals are attacking to end tourism so they have to depend on Islam for food.
Was there four years ago and went on tours, all was not bad.
Last year it seemed shady and someone tried to run off with a handicapped relative in a wheelchair in order to demand money. This happened within 100 feet of onlooking security that did nothing.
Last year we never got off the dock, the place was unsafe, you could feel it.
