Fox News.com ^ | June 25, 2015

While Chief Justice John Roberts delivered a blow to ObamaCare foes with a majority opinion upholding subsidies, he backed up the law's opponents on one point: The language in the Affordable Care Act was kind of a mess.

"The Affordable Care Act contains more than a few examples of inartful drafting," he wrote.

Roberts couldn’t have done more damage if he were a foreign agent seeking to harm the U. S.

King v. Burwell is the Supreme Court’s “Humpty Dumpty” decision, that the written law no longer means what it actually says, but can be modified “at whim” by the president, to mean what he wants it to mean. In effect, the Supreme Court has just decided to cede all of its power to the president.

Through the Looking Glass (1872):

“When I use a word,” Humpty Dumpty said, in rather a scornful tone, “it means just what I choose it to mean — neither more nor less.”

“The question is,” said Alice, “whether you can make words mean so many different things.”

“The question is,” said Humpty Dumpty, “which is to be master — that’s all.”

It isn’t as though the wording was an accident or a typo, Gruber admitted that the words used were deliberately chosen.

This is crazy.

Last week I learned I golf as well as Tiger Woods. Today, I learned I know more about the law than the chief justice of the US freekin’ supreme court!

Yes, it was poorly written and unconstitutional.

But you, Justice Roberts, instead of ruling on the law as written, decided that it was in your constitutional authority to transform yourself into a unelected and unaccountable legislative body to rewrite those parts of the law that didn’t pass constitutional muster.

There’s a word that our Founders would have used to describe an unelected and unaccountable legislature: TYRANNY.

Traitor Roberts plans to use his Humpty Dumbty position (“When I use a word,’ Humpty Dumbty said in rather a scornful tone, ‘it means just what I choose it to mean — neither more nor less.’) as the precedent for the upcoming redefinition of the word "marriage".

If this doesn’t end in a constitutional amendment to fix it then it is wrong to blame the “leaders.”

Inartfully written or purposely vague?

Contorting to support a badly written law makes its interpretation and related regulations even more complicated.

They know they’re making sh*t up.

We know they’re making sh*t up.

They know we know they’re making sh*t up.

We know they know we know they’re making sh*t up.

There is no pretending anymore.

It’s a dictatorship.

I see something like “the soft bigotry of low expectations” going on here.

That is going to backfire like mad.
