Donald Trump: I'm Suing Univision for Hundreds Of Millions Over Miss USA
TMZ ^ | 25 June 2015 | TMZ Staff

Posted on 06/25/2015 11:55:49 AM PDT by Steely Tom

Donald Trump has a vision for Univision ... it involves a courtroom, a jury and a bank account that will be bled dry.

Trump tells TMZ, he will sue Univision for "hundreds of millions of dollars" for breaching what he says is a binding, 5 year deal to air the Miss USA pageant.

The Donald says Univision had no legal right to back out of the deal Thursday, based on his comments about Mexico and Mexicans, saying many of them who come here are drug dealers and rapists.

Trump tells us, the contract, which was signed in January of this year, is iron-clad. He also says Univision became immediately apologetic after pulling the plug, telling him they were backed against a wall and pleading with him not to talk about Mexico anymore or to at least soften his view.

The candidate says, "I love the Mexican people, but I'm running for President and our country comes first."

And, as for Cristian de la Fuente, the "Devious Maids" star who says he's backing out of hosting the pageant, Trump tells us, "We never even signed the guy. After the Miss USA people saw him they were unimpressed."

Why even bring up the “would have been” host. It was childish and stupid.

Apparently, Cristian de la Fuente made a big public show of "quitting" as "host" of Miss USA, and called Mr. Trump "ignorant" and "a clown" while doing so.

I’m not voting for Trump....but when he speaks out on an issue I agree with I’ll highlight that. Simple stuff.

About we have a candidate that is willing to play hardball. Stands out in a field of wimps afraid of their own shadow and what others might think.

Non of which has anything to do with the issue at hand, which is that he has an ironclad contract with Univision, which in typical Obama regime lawless fashion think they can ignore the law and ride roughshod over anyone they like. Washington Redskins and Donald Sterling erstwhile of the LA Clippers come
to mind.
This has nothing to do with whether you support Trump or not. I don't.

Exactly. He’s the only one who dares talk back. I’m sick of these republican wimps sitting back while the rats and the media call us all racists, including themselves. Cowards, all.

Huh? Trump in his own words on the issues. Exactly opposite of what you state.

“I’m pro-life and I have been pro-life,” Trump says. “It’s an issue and a strong issue.”

Mr. Trump claimed last month that he had devised a “foolproof way” to defeat the Islamic State “very quickly.”

Mr. Trump – whose mother emigrated from Scotland – says illegal immigrants are “destroying the fabric of the country” while the middle class is getting “decimated.”

Mr. Trump says that his views on marriage are “evolving” but that he still favors “traditional marriage,” between “a man and a woman.” (He has been married three times.) Same-sex marriage, he says, isn’t his “thing.”

He does not just deny that climate change is occurring; he calls it a hoax, and says those who warn of global warming only want to raise taxes.

Mr. Trump believes reckless government borrowing and stimulative policies by the Federal Reserve threaten the long-term health of the American economy and undermine the dollar, which, he said in 2012, “is going to go to hell.” He strongly opposes the Trans-Pacific Partnership trade deal, calling it “an attack on America’s business” that fails to penalize Asian nations like Japan when, he says, they engage in currency manipulation to boost exports.

“I’m a big Second Amendment person,” Trump said, noting that he has a pistol permit. “You have the constitutional right to bear arms.”

Univision walked right in to it. LOL! This is so funny watching Trump make people do tricks like they are his pet poodles. Univision is La Raza with a camera and transmitter. ANYTIME these pukes get bashed up side the head that is a good thing.

Trump does not play checkers, not only has he once again pushed his name out he has promoted his property, The Miss USA pageant all over the media without spending a penny. I will say one thing for this guy, he does not only know how to handle the media he gets it to do tricks for him too.

Over the past few years I have watched Obama, Clinton, Reid and a host of other leftist pukes spit on other people over and over and the people they are spitting on don’t do a thing. They let the media pile on along with these dumb a$$ Frank Underwood types I mention and cower in the corner. Most of the Republicans are scared frozen that some person on MSNBC or ABC/NBC/CBS might say something negative about them. Trump? He does not give a $hit.

Most Americans are the same way. They let this health care garbage get shoved down their throats. The let the 1% of the population queers and other devoids dictate what people can say and think. Some guy is nuts and think that if gets rid of his he is a woman and people start calling him, er, it a her? If the left don’t like a flag or statues let’s just tear them down. But don’t anyone say anything about any of that if you don’t agree with it. No! No! The president can use the word that starts with “N” and that is just ignorant but don’t you say anything about it!

In a nation of pu$$ys it is REFRESHING to see someone not take any crap off anyone. At least Trump has some gonads. He may not get elected but if he did at least we would nt have an effeminate wimp in the oval office like we have now.

Trump is an abrasive, arrogant, opinionated, self-centered abrasive LOUD MOUTH who has billions of reasons not to take any crap off of anyone. He is a capitalistic PIG who not only has had his share of beautiful woman he lives in high style and has his own Boing 757! He is the anti-Obama and certainly is the anti-Bruce Jenner. Men used to act this way. Get in their face or in their pocket and they would give it right back. Trump is scrappy and I say HELL YES!

“really Presidential”

Andrew Jackson said, “I have only two regrets: I didn’t shoot Henry Clay and I didn’t hang John C. Calhoun.”

And you are worried about the word, “ugly”?

I want a conservative president who’s not afraid to call a spade a spade.

Sweetest Guenevere, my dearest DrO was a total gentleman and a scholar, and he liked Donald Trump for his brashness and his ability to connect with everyday people by speaking the truth without all the PC language.

A number of his patients were screwed-up due to over analyzing every damn situation that we all encounter in our lives, but the 24/7 news cycle by MSM had made it worse for those prone to depression.

I have no idea if he would be backing Trump now, but I smile at the thought.

:)

I don’t know how Cruz plays into this, but I’m all for Trump suing Univision and winning “millions of dollars,”!

I’m not sure Trump will actually run: something about filing more financial information by a certain deadline date?

IOW the cadre of aspirants to the GOP nomination.

Trump himself says he is strongly pro-life, strong 2nd amendment believer and has a handgun permit. He has given about 50-50 to dems and repubs, I suspect the money was more along the lines of legal bribes to stay in favor of both parties and hedging his bets. He does have an 8 billion dollar empire and the wheels of business is greased with money. We may not like it but we are a third world country when it comes to buying favors from our pols.

Actually Onyx I don’t feel very sweet right now ( but thanks for the compliment!)...........Obama, Roberts and ilk are getting on my last nerve!
Donald Trump is a breath of fresh air right now.....and I want it to last.

Many many of us here are sooooooooo fed up with the pc politicians.....
And Trump’s bravado is refreshing and FUN!

And right now we need someone who will spit in the eye of troublemakers......and call a spade a spade!
And we get to vicariously join in!

Go Trump!

Trumps filed now. Did so this week.

I don’t know where Cruz is going to go either....but he’s where he’s suppose to be until the Lord determines otherwise. I do believe all who are running currently are meant to do so and with a “joint” purpose they have in mind we are not privy to.

We can trust the Lord to manuver those within this group and position them as He wants....when He wants...and it will not always seem to be what we want from one moment to the next....just keep trusting.

Bottom line we want what God wants as a leader....good or bad as a leader...because He knows what’s coming and the man at the top will be the man for that hour.

As much as we hate what Obama ‘s done to this country...prophetically this nation had to have a ‘weak leader’ in order for the Lord to set the stage we see lining up in the Middle East, Europe, Russia and all those who will play a role in the future prophetically. Any other President would have not stood for the current status abroad but would have stopped much of it.

It’s been heart wretching for us all to watch and live in...but we still must trust God....His perfect will is being worked out even when we don’t understand...we’re not asked to understand but Trust.

IMO Trumps showing politicians how to speak on issues instead of tiptoeing around them....he’s schooling others regardless if any like his delivery he is telling it like it is.

seriously?
you want “wonky speak”?

He spoke in a language nobody could mistake.

Reagan did the same thing. He called the soviets an “EVIL empire” and DC wet their pants.

He may not ultimately win, but he is a breath of fresh air.

Suddenly FR has people attacking candidates who speak out against Univision

Now that someone sounds serious about stopping it, they're defending the invasion of the US. Trump is really stirring the pot.

5.“Ridicule is man’s most potent weapon.” There is no defense. It’s irrational. It’s infuriating. It also works as a key pressure point to force the enemy into concessions.

6.“A good tactic is one your people enjoy.” They’ll keep doing it without urging and come back to do more. They’re doing their thing, and will even suggest better ones.

13.“Pick the target, freeze it, personalize it, and polarize it.”

seems there are a few supporters of other candidates who feel threatened by Trump.
