The Confederate flag will disappear from merchandise of the popular 1980s television series “The Dukes of Hazzard.”
Warner Bros. announced Tuesday it will no longer sanction the production of any “Dukes of Hazzard” products displaying the controversial emblem.
“Warner Bros. Consumer Products has one licensee producing die-cast replicas and vehicle model kits featuring the General Lee with the Confederate flag on its roof – as it was seen in the TV series,” a spokesman for the company told Vulture on Tuesday evening.

This country suffers from mass hysteria. People get swept up by the current fad and do dumb things without thinking, just because other people are doing them.
After the confederate flag, it will be some other symbol of the culture that the left hates.
This makes me want to embrace the Confederate flag as a symbol of resistance of tyranny and hysteria.
Hollywood, much to your chagrin, had nothing to do with this. It’s politics.

Dont expect them to sell. The general lee isnt the general lee without the Confederate flag. The old dukes of hazzard merchandise WITH the flag are about to shoot up in value now.
Might be a good time to by a General Lee with people panic selling.
All these hysterical people should be more concerned about black on black violence. A real problem.

None of my liberal friends, college age friends, NO ONE I KNOW ANYWHERE gives a flying crud about any of this.
I don’t have a single liberal acquaintance who has even mentioned this. It’s not on any low information voter’s radar.
So WHO OR WHAT IS DRIVING THIS? The media and WHAT background force pushing this agenda? What specific group is shoving this fictional hysteria? Because average joe doesn’t care or wants this to stop.

The powers that be want to rid any vestige of states rights or secession. That is the only thing “they” fear. This flag is it’s symbol. Symbols meant something.
This country is being dismantled, piece by piece.
