What is humorous to me, as a resident of Georgia, the big argument was to remove the state flag because it had the southern cross. It was replaced by almost an exact duplicate of the National Flag of the Confederacy and no one blinks an eye. In my opinion, they replaced the state flag with one that is even more confederate.
George Washington owned slaves most of his life. I suggest this well known fact justifies, in fact commands, a change in the name of our Capital Washington DC.
How about:
Roosevelt DC?
Fonda DC?
Sharpton DC?
Obama DC?
Wilson filled his cabinet with Southern white supremacists.
YES! It hasn’t yet dawned on the attack dogs what they are attacking.
To complain in the abstract about anti-black politics is one thing.
To get concrete... now all of a sudden Republicans start looking really nice (and Democrats, nasty).
And the reason this is happening? Because the TPP and other trade agreements which are about to be voted on guarantees that we will be importing foreign workers for the next 20 years, which will take the jobs from blacks.
By firing up the natives, the left is distracting them from their own demise. By using a symbol that is irrelevant to the conversation no less.

Thomas Jefferson and Slavery
