For someone who doesn’t watch TV and doesn’t know anything about Science, he sure is pushing something he won’t have to pay for.
Bergoglio is not a communist.
He is a simple man of limited intellect with a very big ego. His scientific “education” comprises about a year of junior college chemistry. And apparently, he wasn’t very good at it.
He sees everything through the lens of Argentine politics and culture, just as many posters here see things through the lens of American politics and culture. In Argentina, there is left wing Peronism and right wing Peronism. Both are fascism. Once upon a time, he was a right wing Peronist. Now he is a left wing Peronist.
The encyclical is a confused mishmash of paganism and fascism, wrapped up in a pseudo-Franciscan bow.
