TAOS, N.M. – A former White House chef for Presidents Bill Clinton and George W. Bush drowned in a New Mexico mountain stream, and his death was ruled an accident, authorities said Tuesday.
The determination followed several days of mystery about the death of Walter Scheib, who vanished during a solo hike in the mountains of northern New Mexico and was found dead Sunday night after a weeklong search. There was no sign of foul play, State Police Sgt. Elizabeth Armijo said. Scheib recently moved from Florida to Taos. He was 61.
Scheib's girlfriend reported him missing after he failed to return from a June 13 hike in the mountains near the Taos Ski Valley. Three days later, Taos police found Scheib's vehicle at the Yerba Canyon trailhead. The 4-mile trail follows a canyon bottom before climbing to 3,700 feet in elevation.
As the search progressed, state police exhausted all resources, from the National Guard to the U.S. Air Force. High mountain peaks, deep canyons and dense vegetation made the air search difficult, while the rough terrain hampered efforts on the ground.
Thunderstorms stalled the air search last Thursday, but ground crews continued. That evening, data from Scheib's cellphone helped to pinpoint his last location, and the search was expanded.

Accidental drowning? It could happen. The same thing happened to CIA director William Colby, who drowned by accident just before Hillary’s husband was reelected.
I don’t see anything at all suspicious in those deaths. No more than the release of information on Obama’s opponent, Jack Ryan, in Obama’s US Senate race. It’s not like the democrats would cheat or even kill to grasp for power. Is it?

he was at 12 feet above sea level drowning in a stream.

Having lived out in AZ for a couple of years....I know that in the various gulches that you might walk....if it’s raining miles away...that water has to go ‘somewhere’, and if you don’t pay attention to weather and high-ground...you are screwed. In this guy’s case....I don’t think he is a regular hiker of desert areas and he didn’t pay attention to storms within twenty miles.

I mean its not like clinton called monica at 2am to tell her that Curries brother had been killed and that now she (Monica) was a witness against him.
I mean really, you people have to be nuts to think there are clinton thugs like Pellicano who get caught threatening people, who get caught with C-4 in their safe after being arrested, or who have people testify in court that he bragged about being able to make a murder look like suicide.
