Trump worship does the GOP no favors
WaPo ^ | 23 JUN 2015 | Jennifer Rubin

Too many pundits and pols on the right, marinated in a toxic mix of self-pity and obtuseness, are bemused or even enchanted by Donald Trump. Considering what Trump stands for and how he presents himself to voters, this is both alarming and confounding.

In the past he’s advocated a single-payer health care system (which even ObamaCare didn’t give us), called for massive tax increases, favored abortion rights, and revealed himself to be hyper-protectionist. Today he attacks those who want to reform Social Security and Medicare, the main threats to our fiscal future. He was a registered Democrat from 2001 to 2008. As of 2011, he had given a majority of his $1.3 million political contributions to Democrats, including Harry Reid. If that wasn’t enough, Trump has a fondness for conspiracy theories, from linking autism to vaccinations to being America’s most prominent birther. . . . For some, it seems, the attraction is found in the Trump style, which is precisely the concern. Mr. Trump’s announcement speech was rambling, vague, shallow, simplistic, insulting, ad hominem, and self-obsessed. He has no governing agenda and no governing philosophy; all he has is an attitude. And that attitude is crude and off-putting.

We should let Trump have his say. That he upsets the GOP and Lieberal applecart is a beautiful thing. If THe Donald hits hard and fast while bringing some entertainment along as well how cool is that? The nation is already FUBAR and let its enemies choke on Trumps agitations.

It is a strange phenomenon that has Mexican born US citizens wanting to open the gates for the riff raff of Mexico who will compete with them for work, bring crime, and give them a bad name.

Actually, I have seen two polls of legal Hispanics and, in both cases, they were about 2-to-1 against amnesty for the illegals.

Appearing on Breitbart News’ five-hour election night broadcast with co-hosts Breitbart News Editor-in-Chief Alex Marlow and Executive Chairman Stephen K. Bannon, the conservative talk radio host and scholar told conservatives to not be dispirited by establishment operatives like Karl Rove and backstabbing writers and phony conservatives like the Washington Post‘s Jennifer Rubin that the mainstream media loves to promote.

It’s a sad day in America when us conservative true Americans can’t even be represented by our own political party and someone like Trump comes along and actually gives us hope through the very fact that he is not part of the corrupt establishment known as Congress.

America is at “rock bottom” as far as the freedoms granted by our Constitution and Bill of Rights are concerned. Law means nothing but feelings trump (excuse the pun) everything.

We only have a single Republican worthy of our vote and that is Cruz. However, he is one man and our corrupt government and Congress consist of hundreds of thousands of corrupt and PC individuals who will not support him if elected.

The upcoming election is America’s last gasp for free air and as much as I hate to say it, Trump may be our only salvation...even though he is an “asshole.”

Why? Simply because he is not controlled by Big Business and Crony Capitalism....HE IS BIG BUSINESS AND THE RECIPIENT OF CRONY CAPITALISM. He can do what he wants without regard of bribery that all politicians must have to ensure their own personal fortunes and futures.

Another clumsy democrat ploy to find a blustering, inconsistent assclown and try to convince the world that he is the best the Republicans can produce. Trump would be a disaster as president. He’s already put himself into bankruptcy twice; who would expect anything better or different for the nation. And yes, I kind ownership the US is already broke, aggrevating the situation hardly seems recommended.

Pretty much. I actually want Trump in the debates. He will increase the ratings, provide the entertainment value to get more people to watch, and in the process, get more people to see and listen to super smart serious candidates like Ted Cruz.

Trump is an abortion lover, too.

Doesn’t matter. Not one bit. To a few here, he says the right thing, so it’s okay that he’s a gun grabbing, abortion supporting liberal.

Its all about the way he gives them the tingles when the dead weasel on his head flaps in the wind and his paid cheering squad claps.

Ugh.

Trump may be left of center but he’s to the right of Bush.

Is Bill Clinton also your favorite president, like he is for Trump?

Trump’s favorite president is Hillary’s husband, Trump donates to Hillary, Trump donated to Hillary and was a registered democrat the last time that Hillary ran in 2008, and Hillary is running against the GOP, and Trump has registered into the GOP and is running for president now against Hillary, and you think he has conservative interests in mind?

Remember Hillary? Who Trump set up this farce to run against?
