Baltimore Mayor Stephanie Rawlings-Blake, criticized for giving people too much space to protest during the recent rioting in her city, has an additional job: On Monday, she was sworn in as president of the U.S. Conference of Mayors, a group that influences national urban policy.
“She’s been elected by her peers,” said USCM CEO and Executive Director Tom Cochran. “It’s one of the highest honors you can have as a mayor. For one year, she’s America’s mayor. It’s a very powerful position.”
As conference president, Rawlings-Blake, a Democrat, will set the organization’s agenda, appoint committee and task force chairs and serve as the national spokesperson for the one-year term that runs through June 2016. …

She’s obviously not doing any mayor-type stuff in Baltimore, so she has plenty of free time.
What a sad comment on the conference of mayors. Are they all with misshapen craniums and damaged neurons?
Up is down, right is wrong, black is white, patriots are terrorists, white crime matters more, unqualified people get jobs and education, flags come down due to an unrelated incident. Just another day.
Okay, if membership is limited to just mayors of large cities with insurmountable problems, that explains it.

Then her "peers" are total dumb asses...or they are sycophants that think that if they snuggle up to the "famous black woman", some of it will rub off on them.
They should be careful of what they wish for.
