Yes, but the Republicans are the only ones defending it now. Interesting, no?

So you oppose the Democrats actions and would support removing. It? Is that your point?

Another reason to take it down.

I would take issue with someone flying a Japanese flag anywhere around Hawaii... and this is a similar issue. We’ve had a 150 years to heal.

They lost... take it down.

“Look for the homonaziis to try replacing it with this one soon.”

I have never figured out why homosexuals in the parades they hold, insist being as close to nude as they can get. I don't see “straight” people holding parades so they can get almost naked. I think homosexuals didn't pass potty training. Do they think we don't know what a homosexual looks like when he/she is nude?

Some time a few years ago, there was a section of San Francisco that allowed people to be naked on the street. I watched a film made of that, and it was men going naked on the street and in restaurants. The restaurants had towels put on seats so the nude guys would be sitting on towels so their nude skin was not directly on the seat. That whole film was disgusting.

Since homosexuals have a flag all their own, where is the flag for people who are straight?

Professors: US flag symbolizes racism, should not be displayed on campus

Maybe “All three statewide-elected politicians” should tell the left to f-off as this is something for SC voters to decide.

True, and then Republican David Beasely moved it off the top of the capitol to just a spot on the grounds. It is part of SC history, it deserves a spot on the grounds.

Former Gov. David Beasley, a Republican called for the flag to be removed from atop the Capitol dome, where it once flew. Mr. Beasley’s effort won him little black support and a backlash from some Demorats in his losing bid for re-election in 1998.

You nailed it. Once again, the Left and their media lapdogs are successful at changing the narrative from a horrific act of violence against Christians into a non-sequitur such as the Confederate flag, and then shoving microphones into various Republicans' mouths and demanding that they denounce it.

I wish Rush, instead of writing children's books, should have created a seminar for conservative candidates and Republicans on how to deal with the Left and the corrupt media.

Woodrow Wilson was born in Staunton, VA. Moved to Augusta GA when he was a year and then to Columbia, SC.

I know that because as a Virginian, he is the one President I am ashamed to say was from VA.

If they take down the Confederate monuments it will mean the end of the GOP.

Professors: US flag symbolizes racism, should not be displayed on campus

So, some fringe professors sign an online petition, which (unsuccessfully) called for the American flag (among other flags) to be banned in a single specific location on the campus of a single liberal university (not even the whole campus, just the lobby of one building), and you think THAT poses a threat to the American flag? Ha!

Now, what were you saying about a white political party again?

What Republicans in political office are defending it? Please give me a quote.

well, that is true.....he also picked a fight with video poker games, who have a big lobby in SC, and that also cost him.

But that’s beside the point...which is that a Democrat put it on top of the dome and a Republican took it off the dome.

So are you of the same liberal mindset as the professor? There is a difference between the conservative and liberal philosophy about the US and it's flag.
