State Capital in Little Rock, Arkansas, April 15, 2006.

In 2007, Hillary Clinton argued that South Carolina should remove the Confederate Flag from its statehouse grounds:

“ “I think about how many South Carolinians have served in our military and who are serving today under our flag and I believe that we should have one flag that we all pay honor to, as I know that most people in South Carolina do every single day,” Clinton told The Associated Press in an interview.

“I personally would like to see it removed from the Statehouse grounds.”

But when she was First Lady of the State of Arkansas they celebrated Confederate Flag Day each year… …at the Arkansas capital.

Confederate Flag Day is still going strong in Arkansas just like when the Clintons occupied the governor’s mansion.

In 1987, when her husband was governor of Arkansas, Bill Clinton signed Act 116 that stated “The blue star above the word “ARKANSAS” is to commemorate the Confederate States of America.”

Today the Democrat-media complex is blaming the Charleston church shooting on the Confederate Flag. Meanwhile, their leading presidential candidate supported the flag with its own special day as First Lady of Arkansas.

Just the words “Democratic party” represents racism a hell of a lot more than anything the Confederate flag ever represented, yet I don’t hear people demanding the name be changed. And what gets me is it’s exactly the same party from the old Jim Crow days and slavery days. What the hell has changed? Absolutely nothing. They still treat blacks as chattel, still use the same Donkey symbol from 1837.

central_va: "I hope all the Free Republic Southern haters and Lincoln Cultists are happy now."

But nobody on Free Republic hates the South, you know we all love you guys & gals, most of us have lived in the South at some point, and have friends & relatives there.

We're just trying to help you out with that little crazy streak -- you know what I mean, that turns black into white, up into down, inside out, right into wrong...
Think of us as your friendly, no-extra-cost therapists, just trying to help keep your facts straight, so logic can prevail...

And no matter what, we still love y'all.

Unfortunately, that's a doctored photo.

Best not to circulate it.
