Father's Day went well for me and Bo. Had a great time out at the lake. Bo found a couple of turtles.

Thank you, Star, for preparing
the Canteen for today’s activities.

We survived TS Bill's visit.
Personally, I don't think he
lost much steam coming across several states before
arriving in the DC Metro area.
We had torrential rains, plenty of lightning—
which struck a tree in the school yard across from the house
—and we lost power in the neighborhood for 2-3 hours,
so all-n-all, we faired well.

Hope those in the states proceeding TS Bill's
DC Metro arrival did as well as we did.

We're in for a few hot days before our temps return to normal.
I'm going to move into lurker mode,
make my rounds...catch up on pings...

But please stay right where you are.
Chat up the military or a family member.
No need to fret...you know I'll be back!
