TURIN, Italy, June 21 (Reuters) - People who manufacture weapons or invest in weapons industries are hypocrites if they call themselves Christian, Pope Francis said on Sunday.
Francis issued his toughest condemnation to date of the weapons industry at a rally of thousands of young people at the end of the first day of his trip to the Italian city of Turin.
"If you trust only men you have lost," he told the young people in a long, rambling talk about war, trust and politics after putting aside his prepared address.
"It makes me think of ... people, managers, businessmen who call themselves Christian and they manufacture weapons. That leads to a bit a distrust, doesn't it?" he said to applause.
He also criticised those who invest in weapons industries, saying "duplicity is the currency of today ... they say one thing and do another."

“Pope” Francis (Bergoglio) is a Marxist. In comparison to his predecessors, Francis is an intellectual midget. He is narcissistic and a megalomaniac.
As the Argentinian Cardinal, Bergoglio was a follower of Eva Peron and Liberation “Theology” - a KGB invention that is nothing but Marxism with Catholic trappings.
Metaphysically, the Jesuit “theology” of “Pope” Francis is decidedly materialistic, and completely devoid of sound spiritual content. Thus, he exchanges material welfare for the spiritual welfare of the soul. He forgets the entirety of Christ’s first beatitude: “Blessed are the poor IN SPIRIT, for theirs is the Kingdom of Heaven” And, less we forget, Christ also said “The the poor you shall always have with you ...”
“Pope” Francis excuses the reprobate sodomite behavior of homosexual “priests,” and homosexuals in general, with the asinine comment of “who am I to judge” - and thus he further empowers and emboldens the Marxist homosexual mafia that has infiltrated the Vatican.
“Pope” Francis has attempted to play down abortion, rebuking Catholics for being “too preoccupied” with the wanton murder of the most innocent and helpless among us.
“Pope” Francis tells the youth of the world to “raise hell,” further fanning the flames of social unrest - which is exactly the mission of communism.
Each time this ignorant fool of a “pope” opens his pie-hole, he spouts pure gibberish - often making public statements that, at worst, run contrary to the constant teaching of Church, or otherwise come across as ambivalent - and thus Francis scandalizes the faithful and makes the Church less relevant in the world.
In his latest encyclical - on global climate change -, “Pope” Francis calls for a “global authority” to force the reduction of CO2 ...
I warned Novus Ordo Catholics that Cardinal Bergoglio was a hardcore socialist - made in the mode of Eva Peron; I warned people that he, now in the person of “Pope” Francis, was a materialist in his so-called Jesuit “theology”; and, I stated on several occasions that this “pope” was making remarks that bordered on heresy. I was ignored, as many modernist Catholics insisted on making excuses for this man’s increasingly bizarre opinions and actions - or lack of action, as is typically the case when he deals with the Marxist-homosexual mafia that has infiltrated the Vatican and much of the Catholic Church.
Now we get the latest “masterpiece” from this paragon of intellectual zeal - “Pope” Francis writes his encyclical on “Climate Change” - and he demands the establishment of a “global governing authority” - Really? Dare I write it? Oh, yes, of course I will! This is the model upon which we shall finally get to One World Government. Our Papa, who art in Rome, bring us to the land of utopian milk and socialist honey!
Perhaps our courageous populist pontiff will step up and offer his services, as the Big Kahuna of the “Catholic Climate Directorate!” That is sure to inspire our increasingly leftist indoctrinated youth to enthusiastically attend their CCD studies! Awe, shucks! Perhaps “Pope” Francis really is just another dumb Leftist, trapped in his utopian fantasy world. Then again, he just might be an anti-pope. He would not be the first anti-pope in Catholic history; but perhaps he shall be the last - and that would be very bad news for the liberal wing of the Church Militant. Can’t you just feel those flames licking at your backsides? Such a cruel irony!
I wonder if “Pope” Francis bothered to consult real Climatologists - including the growing numbers who are Anthropogenic (man-made) Climate Change skeptics. Or is Francis interested only in trumpeting the Chicken Little BS that flows from the politically correct variety of pointy-headed nerds - the nimrods who will work to “prove” anything asked of them, as long as the federal cow keeps putting out the sweet research “milk” - at the expense of American taxpayers and our freedoms, of course. But that’s a small price to pay for satisfying the growing narcissism that has Francis in its grip. “Oh, I’ve given the sodomites and the abortionists a free pass; told the youth to raise hell for the cause of social-ist justice; but what can I do now to make the world really love me?” “I know! - I’ll jump on the bandwagon of pseudo science and the false religion of the enviro-fascists! How many people realize that, as Earth’s magnetic field progressively weakens and multiple poles form across the surface of the globe, the solar wind will blow our atmosphere into space? The Earth’s magnetic field not only shields us from deadly solar and cosmic radiation, but it also keeps our atmosphere in place!
Climate change IS happening, as such has always been true of our dynamic planet; however, the reason has nothing to do with man’s use of fossil fuels or his habitation practices, but everything to do with what is going on at the Earth’s core as a direct result of changes in our star, the Sun.
I wonder if God is getting ready to press the “reset button” on his obstinately rebellious creatures. Yes, let’s keep pushing the envelope - I’m sure everything will be OK with same-sex “marriages” popping up everywhere around the globe, and abortions galore ... Oh, but “Pope” Francis does not much concern himself with those things that corrupt the spirit and destroy the soul!
One way to know that God is seriously pissed - He gives us bad / evil leaders, both in the secular and ecclesiastical realms. The continuing embarrassment that is Pope Francis, proves the assertion; but perhaps it is not just the fools in Colorado who are smoking much more dope these days - apparently, so are many Catholics.
In sum, Bergoglio - aka “Pope” Francis - is no more a Catholic than was Karl Marx. He has no standing. He is a heretic and a fraud, who must be deposed before he is able to do further damage to the Church and the faithful.

Is it just possible that this POPE is the Anti-Christ, and NOT Barack Hussein Obama after all? Or maybe the College of Cardinals which elected him is somehow collectively the Anti-Christ?
