With the U.S. Supreme Court set to rule on a key element of the Affordable Care Act (ACA), the Congressional Budget Office (CBO) has estimated the financial impact of repealing the health law on the economy.

Striking down Obamacare, as the federal insurance program is called, would increase the nation's budget deficit by a net $137 billion over a 10-year period, according to the nonpartisan CBO, which analyzes budgetary and economic issues on behalf of lawmakers.

The total budget gap between 2016 and 2025 would rise by $353 billion as a result of eliminating Obamacare, according to the CBO, which produced the report the staff of the Joint Committee on Taxation (JCT).

"CBO: Repealing ObamaCare would cost $137 billion,"

Let those who wish to keep it pay for it. Is that more unfair than forcing those who don't want it to pay for it?

Sure, these scare tactics have always worked so well for democrats so they may as well come up with some more really scary ones.

So 137 billion is what the elites admit to scamming off of the public under ObamaCare.

"Getting RID of unsustainable government programs costs too much loot? That may be a new one."

Plus it leaves millions of illegal aliens without health care. Unless they live in California.

Whoops, we’re sorry folks, the monster we created is just too big to kill. We’ll just have to live with it as were slowly crushed under it’s weight.

“The sh1twagon has to keep rolling because it’s too expensive to stop.”

And that $hitwagon is full of government employees who’ve settled into their no-work jobs “administering” Obolacare and can’t be fired or repurposed to some more useful endeavor so we’re Effed! We would have been ahead of the game for the FG to just subsidize the costs to hospitals for treating the bums and the poor given what the’ve pi$$ed away on websites alone.
Now here in CA Covered California is in the process of going bust (because of a half-million fewer enrollees than they need), but so far this year the state has given the director of CC a 24% raise this past February and another 2.5% just this month. Now this worthless a$$hole is making on the order of $300k+, and he’s gotten the raises for the “good job” he’s been doing. And we are left wondering what his severance package will be when he’s finally let go.

Cost who? The government?

That means that Obamacare is a tax.

Well it killed a lot of people already. So we are ahead on that meme already. And almost killed many more. And I speak from experience there.

Of course the little fact that the people that are middle class and are subsidizing the lower class so that they can do little or no work and be covered while those paying for them can’t meet the high deductibles and premiums, thus effectively leaving them with no health care at all, is immaterial, don’t you know.

That’s the cost of just one large state exchange IIRC. It is chump change in the overall scheme of the ACA (aka ObamaCare Swindle).

Lost tax revenues aren’t ‘costs’. Medical device taxes, property transfer taxes, fines, fees, and HHS oversight overhead are all part and parcel to the costs. It’s a wealth rake off and partial redistribution is what it is.
