Some consultants want Trump barred from GOP primary debates
Hot Air ^ | June 19 2015 | AllahPundit

I get it. With 15 people onstage, the debates will be enough of a circus without having a clown there. But on what grounds would you go about excluding Trump and no one else?

And … wouldn’t this backfire tremendously? Let’s think this through.

He’ll raise questions the GOP cowards (yes, ALL of them) wouldn’t talk about if he weren’t there.

The fact that the consultants want him excluded is reason alone that he must be in the debates. It will be great!

Both republicans and democrats are scared to death of Trump and especially so is the media. He will use the debates and his own campaign appearances to talk about issues like lobbyists revolving door from office to big money pedaling influence. He will mention things like building a wall on the border, stopping Iran and taking ISIS head on. and no matter how kookie he seems the other candidates will then be questioned about their opinion on issues he raises.

The media would NEVER ask these awkward questions on their own. They would rather dwell on Rubio's driving record or Cruz's favorite music.

Agreed. But you have to admit Cruz has touched a lot of subjects that drove the media crazy the past few years. He is not shy either.
Should be interesting.
But if he doesn’t get the nomination I HOPE he doesn’t do the third party thing. Unless it’s jeb or a few others on the repub ticket. Then i dont care.

Trump will buy airtime and do his own show if the GOP doesn’t include him.

The media will not dwell on Hilary’s baggage.

What you said.

And I want to add this, for years, decades really, Freepers have wrung their hands over ‘why can’t our side fight like they do?’.

Now we have someone really fighting, without the evil used by the Leftists when they fight, and these very same Freepers run attack after attack.

We should publically shame them.

Do you have any breakdown numbers of Republicans, Democrats and Independents that voted for Perot?

Excellent post, my FRiend.

One suspects most highly that Trump = Hillary's Ross Perot.

Trump needs only shout out some brave sounding conservative-esque pot banging to collect the righteously indignant and easily fooled, then an indy party run and voila, you have...

The full Ross Perot! (And Hillary) .

Tell me about it, Trump is a Godsend. I grew up in NYC, I’ve seen how he works. I actually met him twice as well, he is the coolest guy you ever want to meet. He asked about my family even though I was some crappy teen sweeping up the construction site. This guy comes at exactly the right moment. Hillary thought she would waltz right into the White House? Not any more. Her worst nightmare has been realized, I can guarantee you 100% she is crapping her pants suit. I cannot believe she would be so stupid to blame Trump for that North Carolina shooting but that just goes to show how stupid she really is. He is going to absolutely eviscerate her. He is going to finally put an end to the Clinton Holocaust once and for all.

You ever give any thought to the financial and other baggage Trump’s got?

Have they found $100,000 bundles of bribe money in his freezer?

It's very difficult to bribe or buy people worth multiple billions. Trump comes off as confident, honest, very concerned, very knowledgeable and loaded for bear.

IMO of course.

I would like a rule that if you have a history of running losing campaigns, which Rove certainly has, you should be barred from giving any advice on how to run a winning campaign, or more correctly how to run a losing campaign.

My understanding is Trump has not filed officially w the FEC ... nor has he filed his actual financials. His one page document is not anything official.

I think that if a politician has not completed all the required paperwork w the FEC ... that person should not be considered an offcial candidate .. thus not qualify for debates.

I am not convinced this isn’t a pr stunt. IMO Trump is an over inflated gas bag.

"HOPE he doesn’t do the third party thing"

You and me both. But I honestly believe he wants to change the debate and shake up the beltway rather than actually make a serious run at POTUS.

Rules need to be followed, whether you like the candidate or not.

When I hear bureaucrats say that, I recoil watching upwards of 30 million illegals choking off our social services, jobs, jails, heath care, hospitals..you get it. Then they tax us billions for border security and all the other agencies involved.

Not enough? Then they give them prizes, gifts and tax paid protection.

Sounds like the world's biggest con-job to me.

If rules and laws were followed, we’d have a massive presence on the border with drones and whatever else was needed to stop the hordes from coming.
What country lets people flood their country?
That was the downfall of Rome.
when I drove a cab, I had a lot of Mexicans in the car. Some were here because gangs were after them, some were here to make money and go back, i dont remember one saying he was here because he loved the country.

You are not alone. One of my aunts dressed as a clown for my grandmother's 90th birthday and it was a big joke to every one that I wouldn't let her get close to me.

The same holds for any face or body painting and tattoos. It really creeps me out but clowns are the worst.
