...At 12:24 p.m. Sunday, according to the AP, the first shots are fired and the video reportedly shows bikers, patrons and staff fleeing, running inside the restaurant. Some run into the bathroom and others go to the kitchen. At least three people reportedly were seen on the video with handguns.

The video doesn’t show the parking lot where much of the violence occurred, the AP reported. The restaurant has said the fight began outside.

Two minutes after the shooting starts, the footage shows police entering the restaurant with assault rifles...

Have you seen the video on conservative tree house of Clendennan

I have seen it, and his story together with the soldier from Ft. Hood clearly show that the police and the prosecutor are out of control. Certainly murderers were at that day at this restaurant, but not everyone was a murderer and we are yet to see if the murderers on that particular day were members of a motorcycle club or a member of law enforcement. I'm in favor of turning the innocents free and find out who were the shooters.

Are you here to troll or just smart off?

That's rich. After an unequivocal statement by the Waco PD that no other LEOs fired shots you're still throwing out totally unsupported innuendo.

Do you think they're lying or not.

The only things unequivocal about that statement was the quantity of brass found at the scene and the number of .223 rounds fired by Waco PD.

Stroman said 12 shell casings were fired from police rifles and found at the scene. No other law enforcement officers from other agencies fired their weapons, he said.

According to the Waco Tribune, police chief

"Stroman said 12 shell casings were fired from police rifles and found at the scene. No other law enforcement officers from other agencies fired their weapons, he said."

Where's the equivocation?

Here is the relevant section of Stroman's statement. Read it carefully to understand that he is speaking of HIS Officers (capital O) - the three that he put on the desk. He is saying that HIS three Officers fired no more than three rounds. HIS Officers. That is the extent of unequivocal. HIS Officers.

The remarks he makes about other LEO is related to the investigation, not the operation.

Quote:

As of this release, there are a total of 44 shell casings recovered from the Twin Peaks scene. This number does not include the revolver rounds fired by non-law enforcement shooters. Those casings are still being counted. 12 of those casings were from the rifles of 3 Waco Officers who discharged their weapons in defense of their selves or a third party. The Waco SWAT Officers’ weapons are .223 caliber rifles that are capable of full-auto fire; Officers only fired in semi-auto mode during the incident. There was no full-auto gunfire from any of the Officers at the scene. As is normal practice, rifles carried by the Waco SWAT Officers were deployed with sound suppressors. No other Officers fired rounds from any other weapon during the incident. The Officers involved in the shooting have been assigned administrative duties pending the outcome of the investigation.

End quote

"from other agencies" does not appear. I wonder if he added that when he read it?

If so, I will stand corrected.

“law enforcement officers” leaves a lot of wiggle room.

Right. What would clear it all up is, of course, release of the video and audio. Which may well be on the cell phones of some who have been illegally detained and their property seized.

It looks like he said it during the press conference. I can't find video of the whole thing, only a short excerpt, so all we have to go on at this point is the Waco Trib reporter. I'll keep looking.

It's a pretty significant point so it would be nice to have it from the horse's mouth.

Here's a DPS spokesman saying they didn't fire any shots, so I guess Abbot's off the hook.

"No shots were fired by DPS officers," said Tom Vinger, a spokesman for the agency.

And YOU have not one problem with the bail...on anyone arrested there.

Period.

You are what you are...and most here know that.

When gangs take their war to a family plaza, I have little sympathy for them.

From what I heard they were too busy trying to ditch their weapons and hide in the bathroom to be taking videos.
