It is not known exactly how Deng Manyoun entered the country, but he is believed to be a refugee from the Dinka tribe in south Sudan.
Police in Louisville, Kentucky, are taking heat for the fatal shooting of an African immigrant from Sudan, who charged at an officer while swinging a metal flagpole just moments after he had allegedly assaulted a random woman on the street.
The man, identified as 35-year-old Deng Manyoun, was staggering as if intoxicated when he ignored an officer’s command to drop the seven-foot flagpole. Officer Nathan Blanford, a 10-year veteran of the Louisville police force, shot him dead.
It was later learned that the Sundanese man did not speak any English.
He lived in one of the poorest sections of the city, “where people are just trying to get by,” a local resident who lives in the community told WND.
Manyoun is a suspected refugee or asylum seeker from Sudan, although neither police nor the local media had confirmed his immigration status as of Monday afternoon.
The U.S. State Department has imported thousands of refugees from war-torn Sudan since the 1990s....

The guy is assaulting people with a flag pole. Starts going after some guy in a uniform who is also holding a gun - which I imagine is recognized the world over as someone with authority. Whether the guy understood the WORD “stop” or not - he sure understood the situation.
“Huh? I thought he was saying ‘I’ll give you $100 if you can knock the gun out of my hand with that flag pole’”.
There’s probably some little country somewhere where everybody is white that we aren’t allowing any.....

The cop did the right thing. And we’ll probably save 20 or 30k in benefits every year.

I try to be open minded. I know people didn’t like when my people, the Italians, invaded like hordes. But within a generation we were Americanized and proud of it. And besides the idiots in the unions, we are a conservative bunch. Like Scalia :)
These people have not conformed for generations. What makes anyone think the new immigrants are?
Italians and Irish were from Western Europe. Heck, even the imports from Asia are bearable.
But nothing good comes from Africa. Its sad but true.

I think there is a difference when a less political immigration policy, say from decades ago, compared to what this country is trying to do with respect to the race and religion of what it actively seeks now, including allowing all forms of specious “refugee” claims to go through.
Obama and his State Department are actively trying to change the demographics of this country. They allow untold millions of illegals to enter and thrive here as well as letting any person of color who utters “refugee” to come and stay here as well. I’m just waiting for the newest enclave of Syrian rebel refugees to be established here. I hope it’s in Seattle, Portland or somewhere.

Our new immigrant friend was just demonstrating his love for his newly adopted country by waving a flag pole (sans flag which he was yet to find) and gunned down by police in cold blood! We are lost. Woe is us!
Beyond bad feet, legs and stability, there’s a reason I carry a walking stick. Many a knight with a sword has been done in by a peasant with a quarterstaff. Of course, at 6 feet and 350lbs, I’m not usually the victim they’re looking for anyway.

A little too broad their — I’ve met a lot of fine, well educated, well spoken and God fearing people from Nigeria and Ethiopia. They are appalled at the situation in American cities and absolutely hate to be classed with them.
Yeah. I seriously doubt you’d be picked as a target. And if they did pick you, I have the feeling it would be a very serious, possibly life altering mistake on their part :)
There are only two requirements for immigration to the U.S. the past decades — brown skin and a propensity to vote democrat.
