I’d hate to see you blow a fuse. There really isn’t any place to move to.

I might nuke like you and others at some point, but I will watch to see how this plays out for a bit longer.

Both are willing to jettison their base over this. That is a very bad omen.

I agree GG2. Rubio has buried himself a couple times.

I would still hear Walker out, but Sessions is interesting. So are a few other folks we all need to try to hear more and research.

It's election season....nothing quite like the passions that rage for or against our candidates....might be why they pick so many so we can get the steam out before it matters........

I don’t believe for one second that Ted and other conservatives expected the visceral blowback over this issue. They should have. They underestimate the anger of savvy Americans against the Communist punk.

Yeah, but I didn’t ever dream that conservative anger would foment over MY candidate’s vote.

Perhaps Ted Cruz will join Sessions tomorrow...or perhaps not.

...”Ted Cruz has supported fast track solely to secure that specific legislation- but ultimately, he will pull out the rug from under Pr. Obama’s final trade agreement.... If so, it’s brilliant politics.”....

Exactly! Thank you for putting into words simple and easy to understand.

Yeah. I just spoke to a friend about that as well. Ugh!

Sessions deserves some looking into I think.

Nothing is fast track surrenders US sovereignty; nor thus it surrender power to the President; nor is it secret.

You indicate - “his actions proved over and over he was nothing he led me to believe he was.” Please edify me. List his actions that have mislead you.

Cruz also voted to renew the unconstitutional Patriot Act. That was a big disappointment. It appears Ted has gone D.C. on us.

I’ll believe it when I see it. We’ve lost too many battles for me to believe that we’re going to win this one.

I just got info that all will be made clear, very soon.

Stay in your window frame or on your ledge until then.

My belief is that with the exception of a few guys/gals the entire Republican party has lost their way. As I predicted they are squandering their majority and will likely lose the Senate again in 2016. If this keeps up once loyal life long republican voters will sit home and not even vote next year because they are just disgusted or disillusioned.

I never thought I would live to see the day where the Republican Congress went agains’t its base to sell out their own authority to the most divisive, destructive president this country has ever seen. Its surreal. If you had told me Ted Cruz would vote for this I would have called you a name. I still find it hard to believe.

Did not. He supported Rand Paul’s filibuster of the Patriot Act. Cruz voted for USA FREEDOM Act.

I agree that there is no place to go.

It’s like where can I go to be free of the lunatic ideas of other men? I dunno. Maybe I’m stuck.

I’m trying to keep my head together on this, but man, my government, which I know is full to the brim with liars and schemers, passing secret laws in this manner is just making me want to leave.

I mean this is really scary.

If I had to summarize my position this evening I’d say that, basically, if the GOP plays a part in making a secret bill into law, then there is no way I can support such a party.

The democrats have already done this in Obamacare, so obviously I do not support them either.

That leaves me with nothing. ;/
