he outrage was immediate. After a video surfaced of a chaotic confrontation between teens and police at a community pool in Texas, calls for the officer's dismissal were swift and loud...

The approximately seven-minute video shows officers trying to gain control of a group of teenagers at the pool.

A few minutes into the video, an officer throws a 14-year-old girl wearing a bikini to the ground and shoves her head down.

Two teenage boys approach; the officer pulls out his gun and chases them away. He then grabs the girl's arm as he re-holsters his gun.

Locals on twitter last night were supporting the police. Basically it was a flash mob of punk ass kids using sheer numbers to do whatever the hell they wanted.

A Facebook post from a resident there ...

Facebook friends and family – PLEASE HELP! That (now viral) video of the officer in McKinney subduing a girl in a bathing suit was in OUR neighborhood. The situation was NOT what is being reported…

A DJ setup in a public space next to the private pool in our neighborhood on Friday and played loud explicit (F-bomb) music for multiple hours (it is unclear if he was invited by a resident as no one has claimed responsibility). The teenagers (both black and white) were being brought into our neighborhood by the carload because the DJ was tweeting out invites to a “pool party” for $15 (obviously unauthorized by our neighborhood). The teens began fighting with each other and pushing their way into our private pool. Some were jumping our fence. The security guard was accosted when he tried to stop the beginnings of this mob scene. Some residents who live around the park/pool area tried to come out and settle things down. The teens started yelling racial slurs at our neighbors and started assaulting people and property (throwing bottles at cars and attacking a mother at the pool with 3 young children). The first officer on the scene was by himself. At that time, the party had grown to a large, aggressive crowd. As the officer arrived, many teens started running through our neighborhood. Many of the teens were being very aggressive and yelling at the officers as more arrived.

This was a very dangerous situation for the officers AND the teens/residents not involved. The news media has refused to hear the neighborhood’s side of this story. The video being distributed is only a very small segment of what happened. This information being distributed by the media and others is extremely distorted and in some cases outright lies.

PLEASE HELP US STOP THE BROADCASTING OF THIS IGNORANCE. The media is trying to make it look like our neighborhood is a white’s only, racist area. Anyone who has spent even a few minutes in our area knows this is an outright LIE.

The unfortunate result is that our neighbors are now being threatened. We have also had cars and property in and around the park area vandalized this weekend. Unfortunately, the press and social media are trying to enflame the situation.

I am asking for your help for my family and my neighbor’s safety…PLEASE, PLEASE do not rebroadcast any of these lies.

Those that are outraged probably should never watch their favorite sausage being made either.

Funny how the media NEVER find social media responses that tell the side they want to IGNORE.

Funny, one story from Texas gets a media blank, crickets. This story gets run every hour, I’m sure. Oh, this one has a bikini. That’ll generate some “human interest”.

Maybe this ought to be sent to every local TV station running this video.....but then again, I don’t think the motive is getting to the truth.

Instead, the motive is spewing the lie that cops are eeeeevil.

Ted Cruz: Obama Inflamed Race Tensions, Vilifying Cops ‘Fundamentally Wrong’

Breitbart News29 Apr 2015

WASHINGTON — Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX)

(R-Texas) on Wednesday blamed President Barack Obama for the racial tensions and unrest unrolling across the U.S., including the current turmoil in Baltimore, Maryland.

“President Obama, when he was elected, he could have been a unifying leader,” Cruz lamented in a question and answer session hosted by the U.S. Hispanic Chamber of Commerce. Instead, the presidential candidate argued, Obama “has made decisions that I think have inflamed racial tensions, that have divided us rather than bringing us tougher.”

I agree with that, but think the police officer should have refrained from swearing, and probably could have subdued the 14 year old girl with less force. At any rate, at least one of the cops in a team probably has the role of "bad cop."

Cruz made it clear in Michigan that he’ll reach out to union members as people rather than union members.

Per a brief comment on FoxNews, it seems many of the neighbors in the area are supporting the police rather than the yutes who were apparently there to cause trouble.

It is past time for a sponsor boycott of lame stream media sponsors. Just need prominent conservatives to call for one.

I myself am sick and tired of seeing lame stream media outlets report half truths and lies over and over without fear of repercussions. A sponsor boycott is about the only way folks can strike back against false reporting.

-- The situation was NOT what is being reported .. --

It rarely is. There is no honorable function to the press, except maybe to turn a profit.

-- The unfortunate result is that our neighbors are now being threatened. We have also had cars and property in and around the park area vandalized this weekend. Unfortunately, the press and social media are trying to enflame the situation. --

Just don't count on government/police help when you most need it. Be careful, be gentle, be vigilant, and be armed and willing to use deadly force if necessary. You and your neighbors are now targets of parts of a lawless mob. The press is going to continue to inflame the sentiments, and the lawless ones feed their own justification.

As for the press, if you think it can't sink any lower, you're wrong.

I have lavishly bashed police officers about 10,000 times and I enjoy it.

Ya know what?

If I had been one of those cops I would have done exactly the same thing.

This is simply brainless, politically-motivated piling on and it means nothing.

I will feel absolutely free to continue hating thuggish cops and genuine thugs, even if theyre holding pool toys.

There is an age old saying “ the first casualty of war is the truth”, and it applies to this issue.
