Correct, but many of us have become Presbyterian Church in America (PCA), rooted in traditional evangelical theology, and considering the Word of God to be literally true, and Jesus Christ the only way to salvation. We pray in Sunday worship services (and everyday) for Israel.
The Presbyterian denomination is not dead. But no doubt God is pruning off the branches that are disobeying and displeasing Him.
