You might want to read up on ATI and Bill Gothard yourself. My comment is NOT “hogwash” regarding the introspection Gothard writes about that “victims” to do. Did they dress immodestly? We’re their actions arousing? THESE ARE GOTHARDS TEACHINGS...along with specific dress codes, long skirts, no pants, long sleeves. Uncut hair.

It is Gothard’s (who by the way had numerous sexual abuse allegations himself and was forced out of his own ministry) teachings thst are hogwash!

Here's the TRUTH: the Duggars are adherents of the Advanced Training Institute, a Bible-based homeschooling program run by Bill Gothard.

Although Gothard was forced to resign as the head of the Advanced Training Institute due to the accusations, the Duggars apparently still follow the organization’s teaching plans, which include lessons on how to deal with sexual abuse in the home.

ATI’s Counseling Seminar curriculum also includes a handout on “Counseling Sexual Abuse,” which examines the many ways that a victim could have brought abuse on him or herself by “defrauding” God: Did you dress immodestly? Were you, perhaps, associating with “evil” friends? You should consider whether you’re guilty and apologize to God.
