Again, if you were at Five Corners in New York in 1860, looking at hordes of "Hibernian barbarians" who could barely speak English, you might say the same thing.
The movie "Gangs of New York" has some pretty accurate depictions of the struggles on both sides. I don't find those Irish a bit different than the Wal-Mart cell phone people.
