House Republicans have introduced an amendment to the bill that funds the Department of Justice which would prevent the executive agency from using any funds to ban green tip .223 ammunition.
On Tuesday, Rep. Richard Hudson (R., N.C.) introduced the amendment to HR 2578.
This amendment is a strong first step to reduce the ATFs threat to our Second Amendment and protect our right to keep and bear arms, Hudson said in a speech on the House floor. I will continue to fight against this bullet ban and any overreaching regulations that would prevent us from responsibly exercising our Second Amendment rights.
Hudson cited last years attempt by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives (ATF) to ban the ammunition as the reason for the amendment.

Fine. Now attach it to the next bill authorizing fuel purchases for Air Force One.
LOtta extra fuel hauling arounf the largest First Lady in history. Plus her mom and entourage.
Morons that gave away their Constitutionally derived legislative powers to rogue agencies should come to their senses, and realize the need to take that power back.
I like that!!
With this administration we definitely need more ammo on hand just in case.
WHEN are we finally going to make abortion safer by establishing a permanent Bureau of Abortion Safety?
Each clinic will have permanently on file documentation about each abortion purchaser, auditable by armed members of the BAS.
There will be reasonable wait times, there will be comprehension tests and no Junk Abortions.
No purchaser will have a history of domestic abuse or mental illness.
Funny how everyone gets so excited watching kabuki theater. Call me when they have attached the amendment, and more importantly, when they have forced Obama’s hand and made him sign it. Even if it does get attached, Obama will refuse to sign the legislation, Boehner, and McConnell will push through clean legislation with the help of rinos and Democrats. But hey, “We can use it as a campaign issue!”. Whooohoo!
where was the uproar over the 7N6 5.45x39mm ban?
What ban. :-)
