To be fair to those who post on FR, they are not running for President. I may be old fashioned, but I still like my candidate to show some Class. If you compare the discourse, on all sides, of today’s politicians with those of the past, it is distressing. Today’s group is not even in the same league, to those of the 19th Century and earlier, not the same universe. Today’s leaders come off as uninformed, uneducated, unread, dolts, Left or Right.
I understand your point. Even agree. But we went well beyond class a while ago. We cannot class our way out of a bar fight with liberals.
Now I’m not saying we should become liberals. But some plain spoken truth will go along way when even here on FR people cringe and tut tut it when it is spoken. We have to abandon that mindset and learn to fight.
True, but they didn’t have to deal with issues like the LGBT movement. What would they have said?
